Breakfast hours are 8-10 in the morning. By 8:40 almost no food left. And no food added. If you come to eat after 10 in the morning there is no food added and you told there is no more food left. Totally unacceptable!

We had a fantastic stay! The place was very comfortable. The view was FANTASTIC. Our hosts gave us some sleds to use and we had a blast. And we had a great home cooked meal that was delicious. Highly recommend staying here!

Ole and Magni were super welcoming, had great suggestions and were always available for questions. The location has a beautiful view of the fjord and we got to see the aurora borealis on 4 days during our stay! The cabin itself had all the amenities we needed and with the wood burning oven it was super cosy. We had such a lovely time at Solheim Fritidsgård! :)

You need to pay 10 eur extra for a set of bed linens (20 eur for a couple). Even then, the cost of the apartment was quite reasonable.

We chose this location for our first night in the countryside of Northern Norway. It was the perfect choice. It's very easy to reach here if you rent a car as there's a ferry which runs regularly from Breidvik to Svensby. When we arrived here it was covered in thick snow but it was easy to manoeuvre the vehicle on these roads and park the car next to the apartment. We met Ole Anton who stays on the property and is a gracious host. The apartment was really spacious with 2 bedrooms and a kitchen. The heating worked well, which made the apartment very cosy. The best part about the apartment is the 2 large windows which show the view out to Breidvik and the mountains. We drove around hunting the Northern lights which was quite successful as there is very little to no light pollution out here. Once we got back, we noticed around midnight that the Northern lights were appearing in the sky right above the apartment which we were able to marvel at in the comfort of the cosiness inside with a cup of tea. So if you go here during the season and see a clear sky above, it's quite likely you will witness same. This made our stay one of the best ever! When you stay in this apartment, you can also drive to the Lyngen Alps in 10-15 minutes, where you will see some of the best views Northern Norway has on offer.

We had a perfect stay at Solheim, me and my wife and our two dogs. We had booked a cottage, but when we arrived the host told us that the apartment at the ground floor would be better for us when we are staying tree nights. And he was right. The apartment was big, clean and well equipped and everything was perfect. We can warmly recommend this this place when you are visiting Lyngen.

The apartment was very homey, it has everything that you need. They also provide salt, pepper, soy sauces, and all the basic cooking ingredients which is very nice. The view from apartment is just fantastic!

a wonderful little cabin. We absolutely loved our stay. Comfortable, clean and plenty of wood to burn. The owners gave us eggs too. Great views over the fjord and excellent spots for Aurora spotting. We would definitely stay again
