Lots of food crumbs under the cushions on the couch. Not cleaned properly.

We ended up with a family room. Didn't need all the space but it was appreciated. Was happy with the location, close to town center. Rooms large and clean.

It really needs a deep clean, to get into all the corners. The building is older/tired, which I don’t mind as it is really cool, but it still can be clean in all the corners…

The staff were super friendly and helpful…An excellent location: close to shops, restaurants, walkways and the water but super peaceful. Comfy bed and loads of hot water!

The room is so old and dated, and the water fauset is old and stiff. Stainless shower tray is not level well. The blanket is dark gray and we don't know if it's ever washed. Towels are beige. The tiny closet to hang clothes is in bathroom.

The location is good. It's right opposite the government park. 3 mins walking to tourist information center (i site) and eat street. It's not so difficult to get car park ifo of hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Property was overall outdated, not properly maintained, and dirty (we even saw a mouse in our room). Our room was next to the motel entrance directly looking at the street so we had to keep the curtains close all the time. It was thus very dark and oppressing.

Location is very central, (but quite close from the thermal source so the smell of sulphur is very strong). Room is spacious with a convenient kitchen and it is nice to access the pool and hot spa.

The cooking facilities did the job but could be better - no variable heat on the stovetop and the oven was not working (we didn't need it)

Being in Rotorua for the Tarawera Ultra (50) the thermal pool and spa were huge bonuses. We could see the event precinct from our room so very handy and the Lime Cafe was great. Also, it was a short walk to the gym (BFT) and anywhere else we needed. No great need for the car whilst we stayed in Rotorua.

Run down - old carpet and musty smell in rooms. laundry machines old and only one of each. Not unsafe but not feeling of safety a solo woman might prefer.

It seems to be a trend to put tiny rubbish bins in these places I have stayed in. Floor outside the shower needs to have anti slip coating. Nearly slipped over twice on the wet floor.

Location to downtown Rotorua was excellent, The facilities are old and a little run down but comfortable. There is a super hot mineral pool and a not so hot mineral spa. Spa was good.

The hotel is old and the room was a little small. Unfortunately the second day there was a blackout but this was not the fault of the hotel.

The hotel was right in town with an easy walk to everything. We enjoyed the use of the thermal pool and the spa. It had a well equipped kitchen and a comfortable bed. The room was very clean.

Property is pretty old and dated but still nice. Could certainly use better quality shower heads and fitting toilet seats that don’t close on your back while seated. Overall not a bad place.

The room was very hot, west facing and over the ‘drying room’ (although a/c was effective.) The decor and facilities were quite dated, but clean and functional.

Good location, short walk to ‘eat street’ with its many bars and restaurants and Tourist Information / transportation hub. The staff / owner was very friendly and helpful, receiving post for us and providing a spare phone charging cable (to keep) when mine failed. Very good powerful shower if somewhat tiny cubicle.

Everything was just a bit tired and old. The room was clean enough but not spotless.

The location is great, very close to the lakefront and eat street. The pools were nice but they could do with a refurbishment. The beds were comfy.
