We were welcomed by the lovely Catherine. Showed to our apartment,what a stunning view and amazing sunsets!.. A very well set out apartment. A few special touches like white robes to wear, hot tub with a view and little chocolates in the fridge for each of us. Our hosts could not have done more for us, even bringing in our washing one day when it started to rain...if We get back to Russell one day, we will definitely look up Bellrock....thanx Cathrine and Stuart.

The longer we stayed here the more we liked it! The location is wonderful - just a very short walk to downtown Russell with shops and restaurants. And what you get in exchange is an incredible view! Bed was the comfiest of our trip - cushy and soft but not saggy at all. Good a/c but nice to have the doors open in the daytime. Lots of good walks and we swam a few times at the beach that was 2 minutes away. Great stay!

Beautiful room, modern, very clean and comfortable with a great view too. Bed was super comfy and they provided everything we needed. Our flight arrived after check in time and the host waited for us out front and showed us to our room. Highly recommend this property.

Location very close to town (although up a very steep driveway!) - 5 minute walk. On the hill looking over the bay ... each unit has its own private deck looking through the bush to the bay. Rooms were spacious, bathroom was spacious, very comfortable super king bed, lovely lounging chairs as well as table an chairs on the balcony.

That I couldn’t stay longer

The view from the property was worth the steep drive, both for car and walking back from trips! The excellent standard of the accommodation provided some welcome luxury.

Nothing to not like really. I've said spacious but because of the amount of stuff we had there wasn't as much space for our cases as in some other establishments .

The setting for this accommodation is superb with a balcony and view over the bay. The room is spacious enough to live in comfortably with some hanging space and a twin made double bed that was fine. Table and chairs for dining and 2 comfy chairs for sitting as well as the balcony. Sufficient crockery and cutlery for self catering which was our preference. Good shower. A very good three night stay with friendlyl and considerate owners who were helpful throughout.

- Property photos don’t reflect how amazing this place and don’t do it justice! It feels like some finishings and room featured have been upgraded since they were taken. I almost didn’t book, waffling between two other options – I’m so glad I chose the Bellrock Lodge!

- West-facing views where each en-suite room includes a large balcony, huge French doors that open out to enjoy the majestic sunset over the Russell/Paihia harbor (patio umbrella and shades available if sun gets too intense) - Rooms can be configured as two twins or one king – established during room booking. - Bathroom is large, modern, and very clean. Well-designed with many amenities: two bathrobes, quality white towels incl. add’l beach/swimming towels if desired, all toiletries expected even down to bug spray. - Thoughtful and impactful small touches: EV charging capabilities; wireless chargers built into the lamps at each side of the bed with three brightness intensities; Nespresso machine with pods, milk froather AND milk for use in the fridge (tea options as well); full compliment of kitchen utensils, dishes, a toaster, kettle, etc.

The location was excellent, far enough up the hill to get a spectacular view from our balcony and only 10 minutes slow walk into the town centre. Our hosts Catherine and Tony were very friendly and helpful. Our room was spotlessly clean. Our bed was very comfortable. We loved Russell with it's excellent restaurants and cafes.
