The service at the front desk was not great especially the Duty Manager who was rude, not what we had on previous visit. The room service was appalling and would not recommend at all - dry, no flavour cardboard pizza with sauce thrown on top to make it slightly edible. Lacks parking if you are on the ocean side so be prepared to walk a little further.

Best location in Paihia! Ocean views and beautiful gardens. Pool is great, make sure you take your key as security is high and gates and doors are locked everywhere.

The pressure of the shower in the room was not very strong, the main pool was closed for most of my stay due to it being cleaned.

Unfortunately the pool wasn’t working when I was there, which was disappointing as it was one of the main reasons I selected this hotel for my stay. The rooms were comfortable, but a little tired. Really poor water pressure and temperature in the shower

It was a little frustrating, had to wait at reception for almost 20 minutes just to get towels for the pool. Understand there was only one person at reception. However, there were about 3 other staff members around the bar with no other customers there. I did ask if they could help only to be meet with silence then a no, with motioning towards reception.

Lots of children (noisy at the pool) which I did not expect being a Resort. Ran out of towels for the pool and would not have had parking as requested, only got some as we were on a motorbike and there was a park nominated specifically for bikes. Not specifically Resort issue but bridge traffic was also a real hassle!!

Parking was a mission, and not always guaranteed available. also the spa was not going for the whole day of arrival, was out of order until the next day so we were only able to use it once.

As per all other reviews it could really do with a refresh as for the price it is really outdated and tired in places. No one had cleaned outside the patio of our room so there were beer bottles and spilt sticky alcohol everywhere but that is what shoes are for right ?! Would be nice to have some sort of small sink and dishwashing liquid to clean your coffee cups should you want more then one coffee a day

The location is excellent and our room (junior suite ) had a fabulous view. The room service was great and speedy service. Staff were friendly. Room was mostly clean with a couple of items from the last guests still in drawers etc

Stairwell on going to room stunk of old damp carpet, was horrible. No elevator up to rooms upstairs - Manager trying to make fun of what our concerns were when we got our room allocations. Room allocated was different to the one on booking.com - Not happy with that at all

The room was very average looking and not partially clean. The toilet door lock didn’t work aswell as the phone and tv remote buttons. Although the pool was spacious with a great view the water was murky meaning you couldn’t see the floor at all. The hotel offers a shuttle into the centre however the shuttle only runs until 4.30pm which considering there aren’t many taxi options it leaves guests a bit stuck when there wanting to leave the resort.

The view from the back over the water was great and staff were pleasant and helpful. The resort was calm and not over crowded meaning you could relax easily.

The rooms are quite dated and the only difference between Seaview and garden view is exactly that, the view. Facilities are the same. Pool was the best although a bit dirty . Kids loved it as well as us. The bath tub was dirty (hair in it still) but this could be due to time of year (rush)
