This was the perfect location to overnight after checking out the local mountain drives and ski-resorts. Very cute railway station and a very special shout-out to the staff at the National Park Hotel (Thanks for putting on all of that 70's content...AND fire-lighting). Would love to mention you by name, but not sure whether you would want that. Anyway, thank you ALL for the memory.

The main light in the room had a decorative exposed filament bulb but this was very dim and made it difficult to see in the room at night.

Heard voices in the corridor (early hikers), but appreciated the signs from management stating it was a quiet area.

The kitchen was ok but some of the utensils were a bit tired and the owner uses half the kitchen all to himself which would be an issue if everyone needed to cook their meals.

The facilities were ok. The laundry and drying room could do with an update but all very useable.

The service in this lodge is very poor. I tried to call them several times several days before my arrival to ask some questions, but they won't answer the phone and definitely won't call you back, even though they promise to do so in their voice mail. When we arrived, there was no parking space on the parking lot due to people parking very poorly on top of the lines. The receptionist didn't care about this at all, just said we need to park our car somewhere. Our booking was also not found at first and it felt like the receptionist blamed us on it. Eventually he apologized, after realizing it wasn't our fault. Cleanliness in the room wasn't amazing, I recommend not to look under your bed!! You can find a lot of garbage and clothes and things from there. You can also feel the strings of the bed when sleeping...

Good common areas! Good kitchen, clean toilets and showers, and nice calm vibe.

no towel in the room, even though this was advertised. I had to dry off with a shawl. The walls were rather thin so I could hear some neighbours late at night and some others really early (4am) in the morning. I thought the room was pretty expensive for a solo traveler.

Kitchen was nice with a lot of utensils, a fridge, and a cosy couch and table. Room was clean, had heating and sufficient blankets. The bed was super comfy. Late check-in was fine.

Banging doors! Especially early morning.(probably early risers going out on the mountain trails) Place is a bit 'tired' looking. A kettle in the room would have been a good addition.

Location, and access to beautiful places. The cost for the night was very reasonable. Communal kitchen was adequately equipped, although small Close to places to eat out.

The building clearly is showing its age and could do with renovations. The showers were quite old.

There were minor things like the tap leaking, shower didn’t drain and missing bathroom shelves. But overall it didn’t matter much

It was very nice with dim lights and dried flowers everywhere. Lots of lounges and kitchens. Loved the atmosphere, music was played in the carpark in the mornings, we danced to it with my daughter. Baby friendly 😊
