When your down using saunas and the staff are making noise and cleaning around you , also the units don’t have much sound proofing through the walls for neighbouring people

A must - an amazing stay in a native bush environment. A welcoming and very clean room with an amazing view from our balcony. Serenity at its best. Unfortunately we only had a 1 night stay but we will return.

We were only passing through for one night and was disappointed the Restaurant was closed on Mondays.

Really nice stay, the pools exceeded expectation. Room was very clean and had everything you could need. Really enjoyed the breakfast, I am Gluten free and there were plenty of options. Loved the Wekas.

The room stated it slept 3 but there as just a double bed. We weren’t given milk on arrival so had none for morning coffee.

Beautiful hotel in a fantastic location. The kitchen was well stocked and the apartment was very spacious. The glow worm walk was lovely and the restaurant was great. The staff were so helpful when one of our party became ill and needed to see a doctor.

Spa/pool closes a bit early, so we did not use the facilities. Perhaps in the summer it could stay open a bit later. Not a complaint, just a suggestion.

Fantastic location, quiet, views of the bay, perfect to explore Abel Tasman park by boat, vegetarian breakfast was wonderful and plentiful, glow worm walk a magical treat. Many thanks to our hosts who made it possible to stay at this lovely place.

This resort would catapult to the next level instantly if they offered the ability to order beverages and a limited menu at the pool. Although the cabins have kitchens, both our cabin and the restaurant (which is closed at lunchtime anyway) were rather a distance (down hill and up hill respectively) from the pool. The pools are so fabulous (indoor and outdoor, warm and cool, two hot tubs, near the saunas) that you could really stay there for hours, especially when it’s a bit too cool for the beach, but that’s hard to do when there’s nothing but a water fountain. That is honestly the only thing “wrong” with this outstanding property. And they even DO offer you the chance to order a boxed lunch; you just have to do it a day in advance and there’s only one option so you have to want that one thing. Other than this minor detail, everything was perfection…and even this may have had a plus side because the pools are never crowded the way they probably might be if there were a bar and you could order lunch. They’re very secluded.

This resort is exceptional. Stunning views, great pools and hot tubs and saunas, loved the restaurant, not far from a wonderful and very family friendly beach. We all kept saying we wished we could stay longer. The restaurant is so great! Even those in our party who aren’t that into “vegetarian” food loved it. The 4 bedroom was fabulous for our needs, and very comfortable. The DIY glow worm hike is a bit eccentric (you’ll see what I mean) but also really fun and we were glad we did it. Get a massage if you can!

The view from our chalet was stunning as were the views from the restaurant and patio. All the meals we had at the restaurant were delicious and the breakfast was particularly good. I enjoyed all the fresh produce. The glow worm trail was fun and our stay was very quiet.

Not much. Perhaps a few less cobwebs around the outside of some windows near dining area in unit -

Unit was comfortable with an outdoor patio with great view of Kaiteriteri beach with all day sun. Plenty of space in bathroom and bedroom and close access to pool/spa/etc. Close parking made lightwork of carrying belongings etc. Breakfast was very good with variety for cereal / toast / croissants. Spacious restaurant with outdoor seating options. For my purpose it was close to where my family were camping and I could visit there easily.

Delicious vegetarian food, some from own veg garden; spacious dining room with beautiful view and outdoor terrace. Room with private balcony with wonderful views to the sea. Gorgeous grounds with walks through native forest. Lovely spa with indoor and outdoor pools; massage and beauty treatments available; free yoga class.
