Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

AustraliaNo room to move between the end of the bed and the tele. Luckily we aren't big people. Even with the blinds closed light still came in at the sides. No lifts, had to drag cases up stairs. People sitting on the stairs and alot of family noise, children, babies etc till late. The doors had been repainted white but knocks and scratches made the dark paint underneath show through, looked tacky.
The price was good. The furniture was fairly good and everything was clean. The staff were good.

Cook IslandsROOM: A microwave would be nice. There were no towels, and no body wash or soap in shower. Only one facecloth and one hand towel. Light in shower was ineffective. RESTAURANT: meals were great although a little expensive, and service was poor from waitress. Had to ask for knife and fork after a little wait.
room was spacious and comfy. Good selection of TV channels. Gentlemen waiter was very helpful and obliging, maybe a little bit slow but OK. In general staff were pleasant. Transport to and from airport good.

New ZealandThe pressure of the shower or just the shower head was weird. I was hoping to see the sky tower lights but didn't get to. I was hoping there was something hot for breakfast but it was just mainly a continental breakfast.

QatarThe hotel could definitely do with a cosmetic makeover, but that’s pretty inconsequential if you’re only there for the night between flights. The smart TV had steaming apps but they didn’t work - access to regular TV channels was ok though.
Cheap and cheerful airport hotel with convenient, free, hourly shuttle service to and from the airport. Big room with a comfortable bed and really quiet and peaceful, despite being so close to s major road.
