Erika was nice at first but the next day when we asked why our room wasn't serviced (after 2 pm) she became abrupt. She returned with new towels and condiments but walked straight in to the room without announcing herself. Then in a rude, sarcastic tone asked "is there anything else" we asked if our second room we had booked would be serviced and she returned with more towels and dumped them on the dinning table. The following morning a staff member was caught snooping around our vehicles so we asked can I help you her reacted startled & walked away saying nothing. It does mention on the website "for our short stay guests, we supply you with all the items you need for a comfortable stay". Love the small settlement but definitely will not be returning to this accomodation. The maori cleaning lady was lovely.

We were met by our hostess who was very friendly and helpful. The property was in a great location opposite the bay looking onto the water. Our room was beautifully furnished and had everything we needed. Convenient location and spotlessly clean. Very good restaurants to walk to and the boardwalk along the water was great too. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

Toilet door did not close and Erika had mentioned it needs a new latch. Luvre window in bathroom did not close properly so wind was blowing through and the blind was banging.

Erika is a fabulous host. Beautiful views. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Lovely space to relax.

TV was not a smart t v. couldn't get Netflix or YouTube.. Normal t v. and Sky not good enough - not even Sky movies channel. We were not told about pull string lights by host's partner who showed us the room. Could've been very frustrating - looking for light switches.

The bed was a little too soft for my liking, but was still comfortable and clean.

The views out over the harbour from our room & balcony were fantastic. The hotel is centrally located, meaning we were close to everything. Erika is so friendly and made us feel very welcome.

There was a light missing in the kitchen and also light in the rang hood was out.These are only small quibbles and certainly did not detract from our stay.

Loved the quirkiness of the unit.The view was stunning with wonderful sun rises over the water.The location was perfect with every thing we needed close by. Bed was very comfortable and although weather was cold the unit was nice and warm

Beautifully refurbished historic house curated with an artist’s eye for detail. Upper floor balcony with wide view across the harbour, perfect for coffee in the morning sun. Wonderful warm welcome from Erika.

The only negatives were that we would have liked more towels than just the two provided. Also no tissues. A guest laundry was also not on site.

Lovely room with a beautiful view which was in walking distance of restaurants, pub and grocery shop. Coopers beach is a 5 minute drive away and we went for 2 walks along the beach while we were there for the weekend.

Great location and the room had an amazing view. Big room with full kitchen facilities,Big fridge. 2 min walk to the supermarket, cafe/restaurant below and a Thai restaurant next door. Clean room and very friendly.
