I booked based on the photos. I thought i was getting the ground floor that allow me to access lake in the morning from the room. But when i checked in, i was given the upper floors. It compromised my experience.

Being upstairs with the lift not working

I was on an intensive work assignment, two 12 hour days not being able to sleep due to noise from apartment above was not helpful. They did go quite after midnight after I had rung reception. Interestingly when I checked out the next morning I at least expected that someone said “sorry” but not even mentioned.

Bathroom a bit disappointing, broken tiles, shower head so low perfect height for hobbits, decor definitely need of a "spruce up".

Great view, large comfortable bed, marvelous heated pool, excellent meal in the restaurant, good breakfast.

Shower a bit tired & dated need to upgrade, many broken tiles, shower head on wall at a height only fit for a midget or hobbits. Toilet seat needs changing.

The first room they gave us the air conditioning didn't work so after a bit of "computer say's no" they upgraded us to a balcony room with great view of the lake & perfect A/C. Good tv, excellent heated pool. Couple of cocktails before a fabulous evening meal in their restaurant. Wendy the Scottish lady on reception very warm & friendly. Great breakfast.

The tv wasn’t the best, not much to choose from and not accessible. Eg. tv too old and you can’t access apps (Disney+ / YouTube / Netflix etc.) The bed was very comfortable but when I got into the room after check in, the leg was broken of corner of bed base. The leg would stay in there after I put in back in but it kept coming off/out. When leaving our room to go for a walk out front by the lake, we had to go around the motel out by the road because we couldn’t lock the slider door on outside, it could only be locked on the inside. Fire alarm went off around 11:30pm, all of motel had to evacuate out front and it wasn’t a very good emergency evacuation procedure but’ there was only one staff member on. Fire brigade had arrived and some people were just starting to walk out there rooms.

Bed was the most comfortable bed I’ve ever been in. Shower was the best shower as well, the water pressure was very powerful!! Was awesome to just walk out our room next to the lake.

Not enough car parking space if the hotel is fully booked. Other than that, nothing I don't like.

The location of this hotel is excellent. It is located at the lake front, 2 km from the city centre. The room is on the ground floor, only have to open the patio door, you can step out to the lakeside. It has a great view at the sunset. The room service was good, both staff who delivered the meal were very polite and the service from the kitchen was very quick. The foods were very good.

The price was very high for a standard room and breakfast was basic.

The shower cubicle was a bit cramped.

The view from the balcony was lovely. The grandkids loved the grotto, but suggested coloured lighting in green and purple would make it really cool.

Bathroom was spacious and clean but fixtures a little tired.

Staff were lovely and helpful. Room was lovely with a very comfortable bed and great views of the lake. Breakfast and dinner was very nice. The Hotel Receptionist promptly let us know we had left a cell phone in the room after checking out. Very thankful for their honesty. We had a very restful couple of days and recommend this hotel for comfort and great staff.

only disappointing thing was went to use the spa bath, filled it up half way and turned the jets on and was very dirty, hair and built up grim/dirt cam out of the jets plus one of the covers came off the jets so didnt end up using which wasnt to happy as that was a big reason i booked the room.

The $29 buffet breakfast was neither good value nor appealing. Eg: bacon greasy and fatty, coffee cups tiny, hash browns soggy, only x1 toaster meant we waited for a large tour group to use it before we could and the wooden spoons to extract cereal from containers into your bowls are not fit for purpose. The sauna does not heat up well and you need an hour booking not 30mins as it takes a solid 30 mins to heat up (it’s on a timer) and even then you need to keep adding water spray to the rocks continuously to get it to anything close to sauna like conditions.

Great view of the lake, comfy bed and everything was clean and well presented. The private Spa (called the Grotto) a treat too.
