Noticeable decline in clientele I think due to appartments and some of these tenants. My wife and I have stayed previously many times and very much liked it. I am not sure if we would return here unfortunately.

the keycard to get into the room wouldnt work on the first time. it took about 10 tries before it actually let us in.

Neighberhood is not so nice, no nice restaurants. Breakfast need some cheese or egg or so...

Tv turned on itself and in the middle of the night was annoying. Equipment of the kitchen could be upgraded.

Tour buses do not stop at this hotel but there are two nearby big chain hotels within walking distance where tours pick you up from. Hotel restaurant not in service for any meals but they offer in room continental breakfast if you order the night before.

The location was fabulous. Walking distance from War Museum, Art Gallery, Auckland Tower, and the vintage restaurants and shops in Grafton. A couple of mini markets nearby if you wanted to cook in the apartment. Bus stop nearby and taxi drivers knew the hotel well. Cleaning service very reliable every day, front desk staff polite and helpful.

Swimming pool is small and area around it is not inviting. No shower nearby. No bar or coffee available and area all closed off A clothes sitter would be helpful to put clothes on that have just come out of machine

Good position for exploring Auckland and in a very quiet area. Reception staff helpful and parking available, although quite expensive. Room a bit dated but very comfortable and clean. Excellent lighting. I mention that as many hotels these days have levels of lighting that are too low to work or read comfortably. Very big room with a couple of comfortable chairs and a desk. Kitchenette sufficient. Bonus for us was the washer /dryer as we’d traveled a while and needed fresh clothes for next leg of the journey. We had a room on ninth floor overlooking the sky tower.

A shame they no longer had any catering other than a possible continental breakfast tray delivered to your room which I did not try.

Most of the staff are helpful. One I could not understand. There is an annoying display on the TV. The only way to get rid of it is to unplug the TV.

The room is a good size, with a comfortable bed, good storage, shower and WiFi.

The pool was being cleaned all morning. Eventually we went down and they asked us to come back in an hour. When we came back a different person wanted to put chemicals inside and it would be closed for the rest of the day. Pretty disappointing to waste time waiting for a pool that never opened. There was also maintenance in the room above or beside us, really loud and annoying, it would've been nice to let us know ahead of time or apologize for any inconvenience. It wasn't very relaxing.

Great size room, comfortable bed, good size kitchen that has everything you need for a holiday. Location is close to K Road and walking distance to central Auckland CBD. Staff were friendly and helpful. Great pool and spa.

Bathroom wasn't as clean as I would like, with several hairs in the bath. No chopping board provided and only one side plate for two people.

Room was a good size, with balcony and washing machine. Bed was confortable.

The shower didn’t work the first day but the staff fixed when we told them. Also, the temperature was 25C when we set the thermostat for 18.5C. Hopefully it was repaired.
