We were given the ground floor and there was water leaking everywhere . Noise of water leaking was a bit annoying in the night .

The fire alarm going off and staff not being able to turn off. Due to fault. Staff was not caring towards our concerns. Rude staff just walking into our room without knocking first. Will not be returning to this hotel again. We left a night early but still paid cause we had to.

The room was great and the beds very comfortable. But the fan in the bathroom was on all night and very noisy. There was also very loud noise from the next door bathroom an air lock in the shower. Very noisy. This was a disappointment.

The jets in the spa bath weren't working.

Great size room and amenities. The blinds in the spa bath room need to be completely private when pulled all the way down there are still gaps between the blinds and anyone could be perving at you while you enjoy your spa bath👀

The staff were a little slow in processing my check in and speaking to each other more than addressing me, though I am not sure if this was a new team member in training. The room was not clean, there was dirty and hairs on the floor and beds, very unpleasant particularly given the significant cost of the room. The spa bath was not working and there was a little note that the bath could still be relaxing if I purchase their bath salts to put in.

The hotel was well positioned and fairly central to Rotorua for eateries, shopping etc. The atrium on arrival was pleasant and staff were smartly dressed. There was tea making facilties in the room.

There was a fault with the fridge, it would not turn off. Fridge kept running all night, I think the fridge needed re-gassing or a service or both.

We smelt a very strong spice smell in the hallway on level 4, and inside the room. When we reported it to reception, we were told it was the Sulphur smell of Rotoura. We knew the difference. We were moved to another room, the spa bath jets were not working but they did offer bath salts for $5.00 at reception

Have stayed here often. Decor has always been a little dated, but the spectacularly comfortable beds, cleanliness, and reasonable rates (usually!) more than offset this. However its getting a little "ragged around the edges".....grout in the bathrooms needs repointing, chrome wearing off the toilet cistern button looks shabby, though its spotlessly clean: ditto paint flaking off the door and scorch marks on one of the power points. Just little things that are starting to become obvious.

Most comfortable beds in town! Service is good, the place is clean: I generally ask for little more....

To say that the breakfast buffet was disappointing was an understatement. There were not a lot of choices to begin with. I remember our last time there and it was much better. The only coffee machine broke and no one was able to fix it. Then the croissants were finished and were not replaced. When asked,a staff member kept saying in a minute, but they never arrived. All in all a disappointing breakfast experience. My kids and elderly parents were really looking forward to it.

The atmosphere of the hotel was nice. The doors connecting our two rooms were a nice touch.

Shower was either scalding hot or freezing cold. Spa bath not working. Room key cards kept stopping working and the tables at breakfast weren't cleaned due to lack of staff.

Breakfast was yum. Beds super comfy rooms a good size. Free use of Guest laundry was awesome.

The, at best, luke warm breakfast and cold cup of tea. This was at 9am in the morning, i"m sure if we went at 7am it would have been hot, but this is not good enough. We intended to have breakfast the next morning , but gave it a miss. Our travelling companions went and said that it was even colder. I think you need at least one women to oversee and ensure food is always hot. We owned several big cafes in Auckland and know what standard it should be.

The room was very generous in size , in a handy position., with plenty of parking. Great TV size, most appreciated for viewing the sport.

Fairly close to the CBD in the main street. We had an issue with the toilet in the first room but they moved us to an upgraded room same day. Not a new hotel but still clean and comfortable. Breakfast buffet is great value if you compare to local cafes. I would stay here again.

The hotel was really dated, which isn't a bad thing, but it could do with some modernizing. For a one night stay, we couldn't really fault it, however, I'm not sure if I would stay there longer, as it was extremely basic.

We really liked the welcome we received from reception. The room was extremely large, as was the adjoining bathroom. It was a good location, and the car park was very useful. Loved the big smart TV.
