Nothing really - only sometimes there was a bad smell in the bathroom. And on one of my Whatsapps I didn’t receive a reply.

Beautiful garden, beautiful cabañas, we had a separate kitchen that was AMAZING, everything you need was there. The wifi was superfast aswell. Kind welcome gift & card. All made with love & care. The location is very remote, perfect for some time off. The beach is very beautiful and only a short walk away. Sometimes you can swim, sometimes it’s dangerous. Host was responsive but we didn’t meet them personally.

Surrounded by trees and wildlife, this was one of our favourite stays in Panama. We went to the empty beach (be aware of jellyfish!), relaxed in the hammocks and just enjoyed ourselves. The hosts were nice, our cottages great, the kitchen well equipped. The jungle in the backyard is great! We spotted hummingbirds and iguanas on the property.

Full kitchen with utensils, cooking ware, comfortable for family of 4, outdoor balcony with dinner table, close walking distance to the beach, 10-20 minutes drive to nearby restaurants, 15-30 minutes drive to waterfalls and hiking destinations Loved sitting on the balcony and just enjoying the jungle sound. Communication with the owners were great.

We booked a cabin with a kitchen - which turned out to be a separate cabin! Everything we needed was there - including basic spices and ground coffee. The blender was amazing - and we had fruit smoothies for breakfast and fancy fruit drinks after sunset. Because there are no places to eat within walking distance - this worked very well for us. Just one other cabin was occupied during our stay - so it was very quiet. And the beach is indeed within walking distance - and was very nice and relaxing.

Lots of stairs and no handrails on our cottage stairs the caretaker tied a knotted rope so we could climb up and down but at 80 yrs of age although fit could be hazardous and recommend Sean (owner) installs metal or wooden handrails on stairs of cottage #2

The appartment with kitchen is really comfortable if you stay longer than 1 night. There is a separate watertab with drinking water in the kitchen. Super! The large terrace with table and chairs is a nice to have family dinners. You have a lovely view at the garden. It is a beautiful area, you can walk to the beach. We were at Istmo 3 times. We stopped there on our way to the south from Panama City and on the way back. Sean recommended us to go to El Valle. Is is a nice town in the mountains and a beautiful surrounding, only 30 mins from Istmo.

Location was great, though I admit that from the photos I thought it would be closer to the water. I didn't realize we would have to hike 10 minutes down the road to get there!

Wonderful spot in a jungle Park close to the pacific ocean. Beach is excellent, enjoy the waves and a mixture of black and white sand. We had a house with kitchen in an extra house. That was great, a lot of space and time to relax outside. You defenetly need a car, if you want to experience the surrounding. Only one hour to El Valle de Antón, great spot, especially on hot days, because it's less hot in the mountains.

If the cabin is booked by 3 persons, it would be nice to also have 3 cups for the morning coffee (had only two) and to have maybe more than one spoon

Great to spend a day/night in the jungle, watch birds, go to the beach. The cabin was clean, beds comfortable, the bathroom really beautiful. Contact with the owners /their car taker was also really nice. Would recommend!

Liked everything.

Amazing setting in a jungle and very close to the gorgeous beach. Cabins are very spacious and clean. Kitchen supplied with necessary items including spices and cooking oil. Very friendly host. Provided us with valuable information about area activities, food delivery possibility and local restaurants & transportation. We enjoyed small jungle trails around the place.
