Not a dislike but something to be aware of - Distance to town. Best to take taxis or if you don’t want to wait then to hire a car, bicycle etc

I loved everything about this property, from the distance from downtown to the wonderful hosts and service. I slept to the sound of the waves and woke to birdsong, it was a very convenient and relaxing 4 night stay as a solo traveler. Sharon was very accommodating in all aspects, and I would definitely stay at her place again.

Nothing, truly one of the best places we have ever stayed for a vacation!

Breakfast was very well prepared, lovely. Fresh fruit, veggies. Pool and the pool area was great, well maintained. Surroundings are beautiful. Distance to city center relatively short, by taxi for $1 each.

Great location a few kilometers away from Bocas town. Easily accessible by bicycle or taxi. The house is very nice, with a big tropical garden and a very nice pool to relax. Breakfast was delicious, with a beautiful view of the garden. Very peaceful at night with a nice breeze. Didn't need AC. Marc and Sharon were very nice hosts.

In other reviews some people complained about the rooms being noisy because of the road next to it. We do not agree. Yes, above the door there is an opening (instead of a window) which causes you to hear everything outside, but it is just a small road, and during the night it is very quiet. Otherwise, just bring some earpieces and you'll be fine :)

Breakfast was great! The garden is very pretty and the accommodation itself as well. The location is very good, just a few minutes by taxi to Bocas Town which has a lot to offer. The pool is great and there is a small beach opposite the B&B. Kathe and Martin were great hosts. We were not feeling well during our stay unfortunately (nothing to do with the location) and they mad sure we could still enjoy our stay. Stayed here for 3 nights, but we recommend to stay at least for 4 nights since there is so much to do and to see in the area.

We stayed 5 days with my family in a standard room and in a private lodge. Since the moment we arrived we felt very well hosted by The team at the hotel. The location is very good, It was the best choice for the type of vacation we were doing, boat trips around the islands during the day, and enjoying restaurants at Bocas Town at night. The gardens of the Hotel are gorgeous and worth exploring, we dived into the pool every day. Everything well kept with lots of care. Cherry on top goes to the amazing breakfast Dama and Sharon prepared for us every day, with a lot of attention to detail, variations and food restrictions. Our family was delighted by the properties’ owners Sharon and Mark, lovely and very attentive couple that gave us all the tips to make our travel easier and our stay very comfortable!

We REALLY enjoyed our stay at Sand Dollar!! Our hosts were kind and welcoming and everything was very clean. The grounds are beautiful and breakfast was fantastic, including that they were very accommodating with our unique dietary needs. Wonderful pool and just across the street from a lovely, swimmable beach. Many other beaches are too rough for swimming. We also enjoyed just relaxing on the porch watching the ocean and swinging in the hammock, not to mention falling asleep listening to the waves. Sharon and Mark arranged a great boat tour for us and are a wealth of information for excursions around the area. It is very easy to get to and from Bocas Town with $1 taxis just outside the gate. I highly recommend Sand Dollar B&B if you are looking for a comfortable, friendly and quiet stay in paradise. We will be back!

Nothing!

Everything. The best location in Bocas del Toro, close enough to Bocas Town (only $1 taxi or 5' cycling) but not in the middle of the noise. Sharon and Mark were really kind and helpfull. They gave us great restaurants recommendations and even organized a private tour to Cayo Zapatilla. Breakfast is great and room views are stunning. We loved it.

Everything was great, but we thought it was pricey. There were fans, no AC in our apartment.

We loved the nice, big apartment we got. With a big porch with chairs, hammocks and a dining table. They have a garden which looks like a jungle, we saw beautiful birds and even got to see a howler monkey. Every morning Sharon and a lovely lady from Bocas made us a delicious breakfast. Our little boy got spoiled too by getting his favorite fruits. They have a nice pool where you can cool off.

The hosts were excellent. Perfect combination of hospitality and respect of privacy. They helped us find the fastest, cheapest and safest way to our next stop in Boquete (it was new and different than the route I'd researched on line). Breakfast was fresh and delicious and the cook( Duma??) gave me some aloe leaves early one morning when she saw my sunburn. Would definitely stay there again!

We found a pretty big spider in our shower, but we understand that this can happen and it is not the fault of Sand Dollar Beach B&B.

We loved the location because it was right in front of a beautiful beach. The breakfast was fantastic and it filled us up. The room was very big and the AC worked very well. Everything was very clean.

Everything was perfect! Sharon & Marc are great hosts and help you out with everything. The rooms and property are very clean and we just loved the pool! Its only 1$ to take a taxi to town and they are always passing by so you dont have to wait long. Dama makes a delicious & different breakfast everyday. If you lucky you can see Monkeys in the garden :) We loved everything about it and can warmly recommend to stay at the Sand Dollar beach Resort! We will be Back, Theresa & Tobi
