“The location is amazing -- right on the banks of the Amazon river. The lodge is completely screened in so you can experience the sights and sounds of nature (without all the mosquitoes). The family room is perfect for a family with 2-3 kids. Many other places don't have a pool and let me tell you -- the pool is a lifesaver to cool down in the hot afternoons! Our English-speaking guide did a great job personalizing daily adventures each day, from ziplining to visiting wild animals. The food was phenomenal! The chef was able to accommodate our pescatarian diet. Overall, they welcomed us like family and we would recommend the Avatar for a once in a lifetime experience!”
