Check-in process was extremely slow. One dude working at the front desk and there was a big line when we got in. It took us over 30 minutes to get checked in and we were very tired already from the Inca trail hike.

This hotel is worth the high price. If you are doing a trek or a big hike like we did, it will be worth it to spend your evening in a nice place like this. The bed and shower are amazing and super comfortable. This hotel is right by the river, and not really in the "hustle and bustle" of Aguas Calientes. Trust me, you will appreciate the quiet even if you think you want to be in the middle of the party. We almost booked El Mapi instead of this one and we are so glad we didn't go with El Mapi because it's right in the middle of all the busiest bars in AC. Go with this one!! The breakfast is vast and excellent as well.

Everything was wonderful from the moment we stepped off the train and staff welcomed us and helped us with our bags. Checkin was fast and friendly. Location is amazing, super convenient for visiting machupichu and right next to the river. Dinner was fabulous and breakfast omelletes and waffles. The rooms were cozy and comfortable. I couldn't ask for more!

We only had less than 10 hours there because of our train schedule and MP entry time.

Close to train station and bus stop for MP. The room was large and comfortable and the staff was very helpful. The restaurant was very good and the breakfast buffet was extensive.

Great location, very close to the train station and the many restaurants and shops in Aguas Calientes. Also, the room had an incredible view of the Urubamba River from a covered patio attached to the room.

Riverside location is beautiful, however the windows don’t provide enough sound insulation and it’s difficult to fall asleep.

Bedding could be a touch thicker and the soaps and shampoos didn’t really have a smell.

Proximity to the town. We liked the bedding and the showers. The hotel staff was the best part. They helped us so quickly with anything we needed. Breakfast with a chef making the omelets was amazing!

The hotel booked our MP private guide & he was just ok. Did not talk much which is the opposite of a guide. We told them we had a 1pm entrance for MP & 2pm Inka Bridge entrance & I am not sure the guide got this info from the hotel correctly bc the guide met us at 12:30pm to get us tickets for the bus & by the time we arrived at the entrance we were running late for the Inka Bridge & had to hurry.

Location was central & close to train station. Lobby was beautiful & staff were friendly. Breakfast buffet was good. The rooms are very nice & we booked a river view. We also went to a massage place next door & it was fabulous.

The sound of the river was very loud. We didn't book a river view room but we were "upgraded" to one. It didn't feel like much of an upgrade because it was in the basement and quite loud. It wasn't too bad but could have been better. Also, there was a quite severe leak from the shower.

The room was large, comfortable and clean. The hotel restaurant and breakfast were surprisingly good.

A great mid-range price hotel in Aguas Calientes. Location is perfect--right near the Machu Picchu bus and train station, and situated on the river. Hotel staff met us at the train station. We arranged bilingual guides through the hotel for 2 days and both were excellent--Jose Antonio and Nilo. River-view rooms have exceptional views (river full). The hotel restaurant is excellent for breakfast and dinner. The wine selection features smaller Peruvian wineries. Has an elevator and air conditioning. Suitable for couples or families.

This was dream trip and dream location! The room was perfect and you could hear the river even with the window closed. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I would have loved to stay longer! It is very close to the train station and buses for Machu Picchu!

Amazing Hotel on the side of the river, very spacious rooms with beautiful decorations, very attentive staff from the moment they wait for us at the station, they were always concerned about every detail that makes us feel a unique experience. The SPA is the best, I completely recommend the Swedish massage!!! The restaurant has a beautiful view along with the delicious food, making it a perfect atmosphere for dining. They have a varied menu, and the staff is always willing and able to guide you, on our last day they offered us some Pisco lessons on the hotel terrace that made us the perfect closing for the stay was magical!!
