Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

Staff was extremely accommodating in every way. We had a few special requests and they met every one without batting an eye. Breakfast each morning was perfectly delicious. Location in city centre could not have been better. Walkable to town square, restaurants and local shopping. Tremendous value overall for your lodging dollar. Would definitely stay here again.

Great place. I am really picky about hotels and this one was super nice. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Everyone was so nice and they are available to help you 24/7. My husband was having issues breathing the first night due to the altitude and they came with an oxygen tank to help asap. I can’t recommend enough this place!!!

ChinaThe location might be a little bit out of the way from the main plaza (totally walkable though), but it's close to the train station (within 10-minute walk), which was exactly what we needed.
The staff were so friendly and helpful. We arrived late, and still were welcomed with their warm smiles and hot tea. While we were eating fruits in the dining area, the lady offered us with plates and cutleries. She even gave us some nice souvenirs when we checked out. The breakfast was amazing too. Highly recommend to anyone who is going to stay in Cusco.

United KingdomCasa Matará is located on a quite busy street. It didn't bother us, but if you crave a very quiet night, you might need to ask for a room that's not facing the street.
The room was very nice and spacious. The staff was amazing, helped us with all the questions and requests. Breakfast was very nice and we even got one to go when leaving early one day.

They were so friendly and helpful. It made our experience amazing. From recommending tours to arranging taxis for us (as we don't speak Spanish), they really helped us a lot. The location was also great and safe, walk distance from the historical square. The breakfast was so tasty and fresh. Rooms were clean and had Netflix! Excellent hotel to stay in Cusco. The staff were exceptional, super friendly, provided us with a map with the main attractions, booked all our taxis in advance, and gave us very good recommendations for restaurants. The breakfast was also very good and tasty. We travelled to Machu Picchu on one of the days and the staff provided us with a packed lunch to take with us during our trip. The room was clean and the location of the hotel was close to all the main attractions, including the Wanchaq station from which we took our bus to head to Machu Picchu. We will recommend this hotel going forward, very happy with our experience!

The owner and all employees were so gracious and kind from welcoming us, taking our bags up to room via elevator, provide nice teas 24/7, excellent breakfasts and helping us get a taxi when we left. We were also able to leave bags after check in given our flight was 8:30 at night and we had a day to spend in Cusco.

United StatesThe owners of Casa Matara Boutique are super hospitable, informative and helpful. We were met in their place late night coming by bus after visiting Machu Picchu. Our room was spacious and with a large bed on the ground floor. The breakfast is quite hearty and served quickly. Our host offers a breakfast in a bag if early excursion or check-out. Very clean and cozy place!
