The location was right between the archeological park and the city center -- plenty to see and do within a short walk. The staff was communicative and helpful. A good breakfast was included. The price was very reasonable.

Our room is in the attic. So I (1.73m) couldn't stand straight in most area of the room. The staircase is extremely hard with suitcase. Water takes almost 5 minutes to get hot. Window hard to open.

The veiw they advertise is only on one side of the hotel. The back of the hotel looks at powerlines and into a house. I paid more for this place because I was expecting a view and didnt get one. This was one of the more expensive places we stayed and the breakfast was the worst of the 23 different hotels we stayed in. On a few positive notes.....they had an amazing shower with hot water and the rooms were very clean.

We were living in the attic with a view to see the Incan sites.The bed is comfortable but we got bitten by some bugs after staying there for one night which itched us a lot.

The hotel is pretty good, and they provided a very nice breakfast. The lobby is very cute.The bathroom in the room is clean , the bed is not bad.

They didn’t take credit cards and we scrambled to get enough cash from the ATM to pay for our stay. Relatively expensive when compared to some other similar hotels we stayed at in Peru.

The hotel is located by the plaza de armas close to the archeological site and you can explore Ollantaytambo easily by walking everywhere. we spend a night here after our trip to Macchu Picchu and we were glad we did. Shower was great - reliable hot water! - beds were very comfortable. we liked that the generous breakfast was a little different than other places we stayed. The freshly pressed grapefruit juice was delicious. I loved the decor with all the cool hats in the common area. They kept our luggage the next day while we explored the town which is definitely worth doing.

It's proximity to restaurants and the ruins of Ollantaytambo, which could be seen from our room - we could also hear the calming sound of water running through the irrigation canal from our room. The daily breakfast was good and filling. The hotel accommodated our request to arrange round-trip private transport between Cusco and Ollantaytambo that included sightseeing in Chinchero, Maras, Moray going to the hotel, and Pisac on the return to Cusco.

we went out for dinner & was locked out of the hotel at 10:30pm. much banging on doors & windows finally woke the night manager! Also says you can pay by visa but then insists on cash which was a last minute annoyance.

Amazing! We had views of the ruins of Ollantaytambo right out of our window! The staff was great! The perfect place to stay immediately before or after hiking the Inca Trail as it is near the trail start and the train from Machu Picchu drops you off very close by.

Super helpful staff (they made great recommendations, were incredibly accommodating, had an answer for every question or challenge), amazing location and view (I stumbled back the first time I saw the view the morning after arriving), great town in the hear of the Sacred Valley with lots of great food, shopping, and sightseeing opportunities.

The location was perfect and the view from our window was amazing! You should absolutely stay here if visiting the sacred valley. Ollantaytambo is the perfect base and the town is much more relaxed. The staff at Sauce were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great every morning. Sauce actually had the best water temperature and pressure out of all of our accommodations in Peru! They also provide solid bars of shampoo and conditioner which are higher quality than what you would normally get in a hotel, and reduces plastic trash.

Loved absolutely everything here - the location even though so close to the bustle was wonderfully silent, the bed was comfortable, the sheets were soft, the shower was big and had enough hot water. Not to mention the staff being super friendly, helpful and responsive. Would come back here without hesitation!
