The gym was not really functional, and it did not resemble the pictures in the ad. Elevators are really old and seemingly not that well maintained. We where stuck in the elevator for a while.

The property needs a major facelift and update. Furniture was dated and worn. The rooms air conditioning was terrible by 2024 standards and for a 3/4 star hotel. The staff was just “fine” they were not nearly as friendly and hospitable as every other place we stayed in Peru. The breakfast buffet was acceptable, but nothing memorable. There are just much better options for similar prices in Lima.

The staff lying to the customers that we would have water and that the facilities were working, the staff was rude and clearly dealing with a lot with the water issue and even yelled at the customers, most unprofessional hotel staff I have delt with.

the water was shut off for over 2 days and the front desk lied to every guest repeatedly saying 20 more minutes and even lied to guest checking in.

The building itself is relatively old. The bathroom faucet produced unusual sounds. It takes a while for the water to heat up, which isn't eco-friendly. The music during breakfast was overly loud, and there were limited options for vegetarians. The staff was friendly, but not consistently.

The room had enough space for luggage. The location was convenient. The bed and the bathtub were comfortable.

Staff in the evening shift. The guy at reception couldn't speak English and was difficult to communicate esp when you reach after a long tiring trip. if anything he sounded very unwelcoming. similarly the team for room service couldn't speak any English which was very frustrating. There was no drinking water bottle in the room when i entered and when i asked the receptionist to check, all he could say is the word 'No'. Almost every hotel in Peru has atleast one drinking water bottle. Breakfast was basic and good but was difficult for a vegetarian as there were not many options.

I have never felt so unwelcome at a hotel. I was tierd last day and was planning to stay one more day but after breakfast i decided i could not spend one more hour at this bad energy place. Personel is unpolite and feel that you are not paying enought at their hotel due to the discount from booking. Even though I been nice to the cleaning staff and only let them clean my room every 2 days instead of every, and the times I ask for room service I always tipped the other staff. One day I got lucky and have one girl with me after the night out. Then the want me to pay 50% extra, but with the normal rate. But I had to argue against this and they use booking rate so only 16 dollars extra instead of something like 30-40 extra. And on top of this, when I check out they tryed to make me pay 20% extra again for the taxes that I already payed them. I told them I am not paying a single coin more for this place and just went without caring. Also breakfast is not too amazing...

The carpet wasn't clean and there were areas where it seemed damp. The dinning table was dirty. Problems with the hot water, took a long time for the shower to get warm.

No hot water. you have to call the front desk for them to turn on the hot water. it takes 10 to 15 minutes to get warm water after that call. carpets are absolutely filthy and there is a strong smell of cigarettes and urine in all the hallways.
