They used a super loud water pump to get water into the building. Especially in the morning and evening when more people shower it was almost constantly running and the rooms around the patio were filled with a clattering noise. I really don't know why they don't establish a better construction for this - never had that in any other hotel/hostel. Moreover a few times we had no hot water in the shower.

The place had a really nice atmosphere and lots of places where people could meet up. In the kitchen, the patio or the roof top terrace we got to know people from all over the world. Nevertheless, they try to keep the place quiet at night - from 22:00 o'clock onwards loud chatting and partying is forbidden. It is located in the heart of Paracas and in only a few minutes you reach restaurants, the esplanade, minimarkets or the Cruz del Sur busstation. We took the tours they offered to the Islas Ballestas and the national reserve - definitively recommendable. Last but not least they have three very cute cats in the house.

Could be loud in the rooms at time from traffic and other rooms as not a lot of sound proofing. Kitchen equipment could do with some updating.

Not very social and not a typical backpackers, lots of families staying and didn't really have any great space to hang out. Could use a big clean all over.

Gaps under the doors, can be quite noisy if near the chill areas. People didn't seem to understand the silent at 10pm rule.

The set up of the shared showers is not good. Nowhere to change or put clothes. Bedroom needs some hooks or a clothes rack. Room was beside the common area and other guests aren’t great about quiet hours.

Great location on Main Street in Paracas, tours can easily be booked at reception. Lovely rooftop area. Comfy beds and warm showers! Staff very friendly and helpful. A quiet and peaceful atmosphere. Friendly cats!

Clean, relaxing, cozy hostel. Good location on the main street, great roof terrace and lovely chill spaces. Nice kitchen where many people were cooking every night. Helpful owners. Super clean. I had a nice small dorm with a good bed and lockers. At night the owners make sure it is silent. In the morning they put on classical music, I loved the vibe :p.

the place has many private rooms made for couples, and so it wasn’t the classic backpackers hostel full of solo travellers where it’s easy to meet and hang out with people

They do not give the PeruHop discount. I emailed previously to book directly and make sure I'd get the discount but they never answered. They still refused to honor it even after I showed them the email after I arrived. Also, there was only hot water in the first floor showers. There is no main door in these showers so anyone can see you getting dressed. Wifi is weak in room with 10 beds. No breakfast.

Our room was right by the common area, so it was very noisy early in the morning. Not enough toilets & showers for the number of people, so they became quite dirty.

Good location and price. The boat tour and transport to huacachina they organised for us were both good.
