Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

CanadaThe loveliest mid-range accommodation we’ve stayed at in 3 weeks so far in Peru. Cute decor and every surface was spotless, you could eat off the floor. Excellent breakfast and welcoming staff. Just a few minutes walk from the centre of Pisac

ItalyThe breakfast service was a bit slow and started late (8am). There were ants in the room. Hot water was not working for two days.
The rooms with the view of the mountains were gorgeous. Loveliest garden. Peaceful setting yet close to all restaurants in town. Lovely sun deck. Good breakfast with the most delicious omelet. Nice yoga shala to do your practice. Heater in the room was a bonus.

United StatesMy only complaint (and it’s a small one) was that I wish their their pillows were bigger or thicker. They were both tiny and thin compared to most hotels. Again, it’s more of a personal preference than a real complaint.
They take pride in their hotel and it shows up in all the small (and big) details. We loved it here.

United KingdomBefore booking I read previous reviews, and everyone was right!! This place is absolutely beautiful, the views, the staff, location, everything! They have Riti the Alpaca onsite, and this for us was such a lovely addition to our 2 night stay. The courtyard view is beautiful. The staff were very helpful in helping us sort our trip to see Pisac Archeological Park and providing advice when we needed it. The breakfast is delicious!! If I could rate this place more then 10 I would, it's a perfect place to stay to explore Pisac, the local markets, the main square and all of the lovely restaurants. We felt very safe even when we walked in the dark, Pisac is beautiful and this is the perfect place to stay to explore this beautiful town.

Wonderful hotel! Everything was marvelous. They cater to all eating lifestyles for breakfast. Lots of beautiful painting through out both properties, the meditation yoga room and the Terrance overlooking the corn fields , Ling Ling and Pisac Ruins.

AustriaFrom the three hotels we so far stayed at in the Cusco region this one wins hands-down. The breakfast was incredible, the staff really friendly and helpful, the hotel garden is a beautiful oasis and the pet lama, dogs and cats are so lovely. Was also great to be able to make our own tea - including coca leaves tea. Was sad to leave and missing it already.

(Delightful)Family owned and run. 3 family members are accomplished artists. Their art is fun, humorous and everywhere around the two hotels. Breakfast is well worth the visit. Local fruit, fresh eggs and more. Large public dining room is open 24/7 for your use. Yoga/exercise studio with a great view. Laundry. Quiet area of town but close to everything you want to see. AND a resident Alpaca youngster to feed almonds to.

Great stay for a family vacation. We stayed here with our 5 year old and my parents. The hotel was beautiful. Rooms were comfortable and clean. It is conveniently located but still quite. The staff was friendly and very attentive. No issues with hot water. They even had an adorable alpaca greet us at check in. Pretty good when the hotel comes with a petting zoo.

United StatesNothing! We were very happy!
The property was beautiful, clean, comfortable and the staff was absolutely the kindest and most helpful! They prepared us a delicious breakfast every morning, gave us wonderful recommendations of places to eat, visit, etc. AND we were greeted first thing by Riti, their 6 month old Alpaca! We were shocked and delighted! We also learned that the hotel was entirely run by a family, who were also the artists who painted all the beautiful murals on the properties. Also, a beautiful view of the mountains from our room! Truly we were so happy. We extended our stay an extra night because of how much we liked the entire experience at Pisac Inca Guest House!
