The location had amazing views - what else could you ask for being situated in the middle of Lake Titicaca. Vidal and his family were lovely and friendly. The rooms was exactly as the photo depicted. Our favorite spot would be the lounge area by the lake where you can just sit the whole day. The bathroom is also very comfortable - their toilet is flushable and they have a water heater. Lots of blankets are provided to keep you warm during the night. The food they served though simple was actually one of the best we had in Peru, and that's after dining at Lima and Cusco.

It’s cash only which was not clear. But the host was ok with us paying him at the end of the stay and he arranged the transport back to Puno.

Amazing hotel in the Uros floating islands, caters to all needs as long as you understand it’s a type of a home stay and there are limitations- you’ll get dinner and breakfast on the island, you can buy drinks there but it’s hard to leave and go elsewhere. The host is friendly and helpful, great communication and very peaceful surroundings.

Absolutely beautiful views from the room and the common areas - so peaceful and serene, exactly what we needed! You can spot some nice wildlife here too. Vidal and his family are lovely and so kind! They made a delicious dinner for us on the first night for a very reasonable price. We did the 2 hour boat trip with Vidal and it was so great! You go on the boat around the town and stop off at one of the Islands to speak to the families that live there and see their way of life. Highly recommend :) make sure you go for a dip in Lake Titicaca too! It's nice to swim outside the accommodation :)

Given the location on the floating islands, there are some limitations on electricity and comfort overall that should be taken into account/known (No soap, only little towels, no hairdryer, not possible to charge the phones in the room). If this is communicated clearly, no problem as it derives from the location

The hosts are very kind and try to accommodate all wishes of their guests. The view is amazing and the rooms are clean, a very beautiful place to stay for a night.

When staying on the islands you arrive knowing that things may be basic, but this little family run hotel was amazing! Each room has a beautiful view of the water and an outdoor bed for sitting and watching Uros life. Cute rooms! I would definitely recommend staying here!

If I can rate it with 100.0, I will, but booking.com only has 10.0. The host is nice and the property is nice too. It is just a 5-star hotel on a floating island. It has private bathroom right in your room and the hot water runs 24 hours. The island is cold at night, but the blanket on the bed is more than enough. The host offers a tour to visit nearby floating islands. The tour is comprehensive (2hours) and at a very very reasonable price. The view from the room is fantastic, and it is located on the far end of the island chain so not crowded.

We organized a pickup with Vidal in advance and reached the island at noon already. He brought us to some nice lunch place. The Summa Paqari Island is located very calm and with a nice view. We had some great dinner prepared by his lovely family and played some games with his adorable son. It’s very comfortable and quiet at the island. Vidal helped us with getting to Cusco and avoid road blocks by going earlier than planned. Bring some warm clothes for the night, as it gets really cold!

Our host Vidal was very friendly and together with his father made out short stay (1 night) very pleasent. The accomodation is just a short (15 minutes) boat ride away from Puno, so very accessible. The rooms are big, and even if it's cold during the night, there are thick blankets to cover yourself with so that makes for a comfortable sleep.

I had 1 day nice stay with the Uros family. It's such a wonderful unique experience! The house is clean spacious sunny nice. The family is friendly helpful and arranged to pick me up on different floating island and brought me back to the port next day. The place is so beautiful. I had my best sunbathing in life. It's highly recommended!
