Prices of some meals a bit high for the quality but I expected meals to be pricey there.

The rooms could use a refurbishment.

The beach is beautiful. The rooms are confortable, and clean. The minibar is complimentary. The breakfast is diverse. The staff is really cool and relaxed. It is a great place to stay.

Room was nice, but the shower tiling needed a little TLC, as well as the pool tiling.

Beautiful setting, swimming and snorkeling right from the beach, crystal clear water, small and intimate. The property was never crowded. Employees were always happy and pleasant.

This is the place to experience an overwater bungalow in French Polynesia. Yes, it is really that amazing. Yes, the water really is that clear and turquoise!!! We snorkeled three times and saw beautiful marine life. It was our anniversary and we spoiled ourselves for one night at the Sofitel. The gorgeous Temae beach and Polynesian dance performances were massive pluses, but the most touching gesture were the fresh hei necklaces that we were presented with upon check-in. Māuruuru roa, we were so impressed.

TV didn’t get good reception of CNN international. Breakfast was excellent but lunch and dinner food plus have been better.

1) Gorgeous and convenient location and setting: magnificent long lagoon, turquoise water, sugar sand beach. 2) very natural, artistic, Tahitian style bungalows and other structures, and landscaping (tons of tropical flowers). But also very comfortable, spacious, lovely bathroom. 3) very friendly, helpful staff.

The hotel has a perfect location for beautiful snorkeling. the room was comfortable and well appointed. the food on the property was well done. we enjoyed our stay tremendously!!!

I proposed to my girlfriend at the Sofitel. We stayed in the deluxe bungalow pilotis, in an absolutely gorgeous room with a private deck leading to a great snorkelling spot of the lagoon. We did a couple of romantic activities which were all fabulous (the pirogue breakfast is surreal, also highly recommend the private dinner on the beach and the spa) I had asked the staff for their help before our arrival and they did a wonderful job in helping me create the perfect atmosphere for the proposal. An overall magical experience! We will come back

TV was not needed in the room. it did not fold away, always sticking out. all the beauty, tv is not needed.

seeing the sunrise and surf from our bed in the morning. perfect view! so many opportunities to snorkel! welcome and farewell was special. enjoyed the Pearl lecture as was very informative.

Garden bungalows had cute views, but opening the shades results in a complete loss of privacy. The resort can be a bit windy at times.

Staff were amazing, thorough and very friendly. The dining options are great and miles ahead of the Hilton Moorea's kitchens. Even though the pool was small, it was not too crowded and very comfortable and pretty with great views. Beach was great, but waters are a bit less protected.

Room location - when booking I had understood that the room would have an ocean view whereas it turned our to have a land view which while, very pretty, was not what I had wanted. The ability to see a map of the rooms on Booking com and select the appropriate location rather than the appropriate category of room would have been helpful.

There was a bit of confusion about where to pick up activities and access transportation to get around locally, and quite a few people trying to get attention of staff at times when only one or two staff were available, but eventually everyone got their questions answered and issues sorted!

Moorea Miti Tours was a great experience - so glad the activities desk arranged for that snorkeling / lagoon tour instead of something with the dive/activities center on site. LOVED to see that locally owned businesses and Tahitian people are sharing their knowledge of their island and culture.
