Walking distance from the airport. Stayed there for just a few hours to catch a flight the next morning. Nothing special but practical. 24/7 reception, free Wifi.

Taxi ride from airport to hotel as it's a murderous climb from the airport to the hotel with any kind of luggage other than maybe a backpack or carry-on luggage. But, it's $20 from airport to hotel and vice versa. Money well spent.

Good overnight stay very close to the airport. On a steep hill though, overlooking the airport.

Walking to and from the airport

We stayed twice, the first time we walked to/from the airport which we decided we would never do that again. The second time we stayed we took a taxi to/from airport which was well worth the cost. The climb up the hill was difficult with our luggage. We we very happy with our room and the staff was wonderful. Unfortunately, we had early morning flights so we were unable to take advantage of the breakfast.

I would recommend looking on Google Maps to check the last 100m of the route before you arrive, we assumed the entrance would be clearly sign posted, it wasn't. We also had to walk up a 50m steep hill in the dark and then some stairs. The rooms had a kettle, sweetener and tea bags but no coffee, milk/whitener and the cups were disposable plastic Styrofoam. I think this was pretty stingy, especially when guests are arriving and leaving at unsociable times and can't get anything else nearby.

We stayed on 2 separate occasions of 1 night each, when we arrived in Tahiti and when we were leaving. It was a great decision to stay so close to the airport for both nights as it's a walkable distance, no faffing with taxis at 2am. The bus the next morning (line 2 into Papeete) was really easy and cheap (200XPF each) as was our return trip a few days later (catch the bus from behind the market). Both rooms we got were good, WiFi was fine, aircon worked well (and was needed), showers strong and the beds comfortable. The view from both rooms was lovely. Staff were friendly and welcoming.

The location of the hotel (on a hill) means that - although it is very close to the airport - transportation to and from Fa'a airport - you definitely need a taxi if you have luggage. But then, of course, it is not the motel's fault.

If your plane leaves very early in the morning, it is normal to find a hotel as close as possible to the airport. From this point of view Tahiti Airport Motel is unbeatable. You benefit from exactly the services you need for one night and you do not fear that you will be in danger of being late at the airport. The air conditioner worked flawlessly and so did the TV. We had a fridge in the room and made full use of it and also coffee and tea bags. This last remark is necessary because in the evening it is more difficult to go out to look for restaurants around.

We didn’t initially know where to enter the property so walked around the long way that you would drive with a car. There was a shortcut that was about 5 minutes less walking.

This property was across the road from the airport, we arrived at 1.45 am. So great to be so close. The staff were lovely, the rooms were clean, we had a good nights sleep.

Clean, quiet, reasonably priced hotel across from the airport. Very convenient place to stay, especially if you arrive late in the evening and plan to fly to another island the next day.

Everything ok.

It's just the perfect stop over into or out of Tahiti. Although in walking distance to the airport it is not as loud as we feared. Staff is very friendly and efficient.

The sound isolation is pretty bad. We were exhausted and went to bed at 20:00, but were awoken multiple times between 20:00 and 00:00 by neighbouring rooms, just because their TV was on (at a normal volume). We could also hear people talking in neighbouring rooms and the hallway. Not so much privacy!

This hotel is excellent if you have a late or early flight: it's litterally 2 minutes walking from the airport, with a great view! The staff is very nice and helpful and the room pretty large, which is convenient for repacking luggages before or after a flight.

Neighbors were a bit loud through the connecting door, but you can't really blame the hotel for that.

I was only there for one night before an early flight the next day. The airport is walking distance and that's what I wanted. Very convenient. The facilities are basic but good enough. The staff was great, and were willing to help me with a glitch a ran into that wasn't really any of their concern.

best location for arriving and departing. Walking distance if you don’t mind carry the luggage and walk up a few stairs and a slope. The room is with enough space. Good setup fits a family to save money. It met what we need and our expectations.

If you have heavy luggage, you still need a cab. It's up a very steep hill with multiple stairs out of the airport. $20 cab fare.

Location to the airport. Staff very nice. Room comfy.
