Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

PhilippinesProperty is relaxing. One day stay is not enough. The suite has a very american vibe. We requested for Birthday decor to surprise my mom and bro and they prepared beyond our expectations. 👏🏼 The place has no room, 2 single beds are on the hallway to balcony, queen size bed at the living area and you can request for extra mattress.

PhilippinesCouple of things that didn't quite hit the mark. Our shower took about 15 or 20 minutes for hot water to come, but when it came through, the water was hot and plentiful. The first time we used it we thought that there wasn't any hot water but the staff were very quick to sort it out for us. The taxis in Baguio were not familiar with this hotel (I think most of the people staying had their own transport) but when we told them it was very close to the Botanic Gardens (in fact just across the road) there was no problem. Sometimes during the day taxis were hard to hail as they already had their fares going into the centre. At night the main road became a one way system and this added a lot of time to the journeys into town. We liked to sleep early, but the hotel entertainment was clearly audible, though it didn't continue very late; not long enough to disrupt our sleep.
We booked the largest double room which was still small, but adequate. It was situated on the ground floor with a couple of steps to get down to the room. It felt that we may have been in converted outhouses attached to the main hotel. Breakfast was a buffet with plenty of choice for Filipino Asian and "Western". Eggs were cooked as they were ordered and the chef was really organised and quick. The restaurant was a great feature and felt like travelling back in time to a 1930s hunting lodge. Staff were very attentive and quick without intruding. We had a meal in their restaurant the night we arrived (13th February), and were taken aback by the enormity of the servings. Appetisers were like a full meal enough for two people, (we had ordered one each), and the cake portion was huge, which meant we ordered too much (this is not a complaint). The grounds were a nice sitting area for relaxing and far enough away so as we were not aware of the busy main road close by. We admired the wood and stone architecture of the main facade full of 1930's period character. The location was close to Wrights Park, the Mansion and John Hay Camp, in one direction and the centre of Baguio and Burnham Park in the other, but the Botanic Gardens were literally right on the doorstep. The hotel let us leave our luggage after we had checked out so as we could spend our last day with more sightseeing before we left Baguio bound for Manila in the early evening. We enjoyed our time here.

HungaryThe only thing missing was the air condutioner. When you want to be in the room it is very hot during the day as there is no air conditioner. Some device brings in the air from outside but still air is hot outside during the day. In the night however, as there is very cold outside (17-19 celcius) you can sleep very well without a/c !! It is actually the first place in the Philippines where we could sleep without airco:)
Very nice old romantic style House far from the noise of the city but still close to it. Rooms are huge . The price is very reasonable . The restaurant is nice and their food is also reasonably priced and very delicious as well !! The staff is also very nice:)

PhilippinesBreakfast was a bit late. At 7a.m., food are not yet complete. No hot chocolate as option for non-coffee drinkers like me. There were only a few food options, they could add more. Room rates are a bit pricey.
Clean sheets and towels. Good location - near the Botanical Garden. Staff are kind and honest, they even bothered to inform me that we left something in our room. We enjoyed The PinesView Suite although it was a bit hot inside the room during our stay. There is a specific parking slot for those who reserved the TPS, so parking is not a problem even if you leave the hotel with your vehicle at any time.
