Our stay got really badly affected by poor management decisions to let an entire group of friends and/or family stay over without closing the place. “It doesn’t happen often”. Well, you should ALWAYS respect ALL guests. Their dog was chasing the cats through the restaurant and kitchen. They were loud till late and all running in and out the kitchen. Regardless that this is not hygienic, its also annoying when we have been waiting for over an hour for our food because “it’s busy in the kitchen” as I quote a staff member. This all happened after we were told there was only pork or fish available and the table next to us (ordered 10 min later) did get chicken served because it just came in after we ordered?! If you want to offer your friends and/or family the best service, shut down the hotel or don’t forget about the other guests staying there as well and hoping to enjoy a peaceful and relaxing stay. That’s why people choose to stay in Loboc. Especially as an owner, don’t start laughing when we share our experience with check out when you ask how we experienced our stay… Unfortunately just a super bad experience that doesn’t help when the entire hotel feels outdated and just ok. I can take the ants in the (bath)room, the old sheets and towels, the dust in the wardrobe, the worst and very loud karaoke across the river and the waiting time for diner and breakfast (minimum of 30+ minutes). But after our last night, I feel you treated us as a joke. So unfortunate, because I really do see the amazing potential of this place.

Nice location with great view over the river. The hotel seems nice from the outside. The food is nice and affordable. Nice swimming pool. Good to stay a night or two. On average it’s okay but some things really worsened our experience.

The WiFi did not work at all in our room. Be aware that the Restaurant closes at 8 pm and there might not be other options in town The room was fine but not great. Price too high for what you get.

We loved the location at the river and the design of the hotel. Beautiful terraces and plants all around, very quiet. The staff and the owner were very friendly and professional. They are really taking great care of the hotel. We were in the most budget room with a shared bathroom (1 more room) and it was all fine.

Staff was amazing , very helpful and smile all the time. Best hotel in the town, clean pool, great breakfast and dinner. You can rent moto in there, cheap and quality. Amazing breakfast place that you can put your feet in the river and eat your breakfast. + Air condition

The old man and his son failed to inform us about the room they put us in. We asked for a room that was 1300 pesos per night but they mistakenly put us in one that was 1800. They could have easily told us about this mistake and reacommodated us to the room we asked for, but instead they kept quiet until it was the end of our stay. They made us pay for the 1800/night room even though it was their mistake to begin with. No effort was made on their part to make this right. They are very sketchy people and I will not be staying here again.

I like the meal. They were able to address our request of changing towels. The staff was helpful except for the old man and his son.

The facilities are a bit outdated. The breakfast is simple and there is no good coffee (just a few sachets of soluble coffee). Sometimes the electricity and water goes off. The day we were leaving we had to ask them to activate the generator because we needed to wash ourselves. It took them half an hour to activate it. There was noise all day long because they were working on the swimming pool.

The room quoted as "deluxe" had nothing but a bed & 2 towels, Yes it had air con but it was too noisy to sleep through. No facilities like kettle, for drinks etc not even a glass. The shower unit had a tile & drain cover missing, leaving a large rough hole in the middle of the floor. The electric shower was broken! The room & shower walls were dirty & covered throughout with swatted mosquito. The food was very simple, basic & of poor quality & took an age to prepare. Tea / coffee at breakfast were provided by means of a flask of hot water & instant sachets.

Very little to like about the place except its location by the river; The approach is by a desolate dirt track & very poor directions listed on the site.

Paid for room upgrade with breakfast included. Was provided self-serve coffee and some bananas. No breakfast. Was woke up at 2:08am with loud noises. Again, at 3:54am same loud noises staff unloading and reloading a van. Then the bread delivery with loud speaker at 6 am. Terrible stay. Staff are a lack understanding of the English language. I don't recommend this place. Bugs crawling over dinner tables. Mosquitoes all day and night. The fact that people around me were being waited on and provided breakfast, I had prepaid for this and got nothing. The TV would not receive any channels.

The dinner was alright. Had fried chicken and fried milkfish with garlic rice. Had a beer by the river. That's about all I enjoyed.

Amazing warm knowledgeable staff in this gem of an inn! Our kids enjoyed hours in the waterfall pool and we were pleasantly surprised that the place had a beautiful riverside dock! The dock has slides to dive to the river or you can go paddle boarding off the dock. Plenty of outdoor and indoor space with beautiful well-kept tropical plants. Our nature loving kids found so many things to explore. They served the yummiest Filipino soups (amazing price-we shared 2 meals for family of 4 and had left overs) that we ordered for dinner to eat overtop rice then took a firefly boat trip at night. We gazed up stars and magical fireflies. We slept so well at night after a long fun-filled day. The blankets were soft and the AC provided cool comfort while we snored. We would book at Stefanie Grace again without reservation!

We booked a budget room for 2 nights. Photos of the room showed a bathroom. Room description didn't mention a shared bathroom. When we arrived we were surprised to know the bathroom is shared. The way from the room to the bathroom goes right next to a common space. We didn't make a scene, just politely told the owner that maybe next time it's better to mention in room description that it's a shared bathroom. To this the owner said: "everybody knows that a budget room mean shared bathroom. If it's unclear, I don't care, all of my customers are regular and they know the place, and you are the only one who complains anyway. If you want to can cancel the booking and go somewhere else" We didn't even wanted to cancel but because of this attitude of course we cancelled the booking and went somewhere else. We got a refund for the second night, but I still recommend to avoid this place. This is not a way to treat new customers. Otherwise, enjoy the cheap price but know it's a shared bathroom.

I recently stayed at a hotel located on the banks of the Loboc river in the Philippines, and I must say I was thoroughly impressed with my experience. The location was simply perfect, with stunning views of the river and easy access to various attractions in the area. What stood out to me the most, however, was the excellent service provided by the hotel staff. They were always friendly, helpful, and attentive to my needs, making me feel truly welcome throughout my stay. The rooms were also comfortable, clean, and well-maintained, with all the necessary amenities to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay. And the hotel restaurant served delicious local cuisine, adding to the overall experience. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable stay in Loboc. Price Humidity of rooms Breakfast

The only good thing about this place : the location, near tarsier and chocolate hills by motorcycle. Apart from that, the room was clearly not what was expected.... the photos on Booking are not the same as in reality. The room we got for 30€ (i entered my 2nd half of my trip and for this price I had much much much better service, bed and comfort). The room was humid, claustered, lots of ants, the aircon did not work well... we did not sleep well.... The staff promised us breakfast (it was one banana and instant coffee.)

Highly recommended. The setting is great, the pool is nice and the food is good. But mainly, the staff here were excellent. They went above and beyond to accommodate us when we had a medical emergency and had to stay for some extra days.
