The room felt smaller than it looked in the photos. For the price, I felt that the rooms should have been nicer. The breakfast was okay but not the best hotel breakfast I have had.

The staff were very nice and the lobby/hotel facilities were also well renovated (though the rooms could have used some updating).

The tv channels are just local tv, if at least make it a smart tv then we can connect our devices and watch netflix.. Most of the time we wanted to watch tv in the room and rest cause we came from a very busy environment but we cant watch anything because my child do not understand Tagalog and most of the channels are local channels, we end up watching on my mobile only.

The diverse dish of the breakfast on each day, i like how polite the staff are and how fast they attend to our request.i like that the room was cleaned everyday.

On the rooftop restaurant, service is not very good. It is slow, the staff bring the appetiser at the same time as the main meal (how can you eat both?), they don't really pay attention to their customers and red wine is chilled in an ice bucket! Much more training is needed, I think.

The staff were brilliant when I lost an important document. Full marks for the support that they provided.

Only one key card was provided. We had to take out the key card from the slot for electric power everytime we went out. Since the room windows face the afternoon sun, it took long for the room to become cool.

The food, athough a bit pricey, was very good. I loved the Sky Deck and the view from the top.

The air conditioning makes noise, and it was hard getting the right temperature in the room.

Breakfast choice was great, and staff were friendly. Views of the city, especially at the roof top restaurant were a nice touch to see the sun setting. Prices here are that bit more expensive than if you were to eat outside. We had a corner room which I enjoyed, and it was a nice space and bathroom. The location was also close to cultural sites like the San Augustin Church, Fort Santiago and a 15-20min walk to the National Museum of Fine Arts and the Anthropology Museum. It is also a quick taxi ride to Binondo - China Town.

No hotel slippers provided Have to pay for the bathrobes (but it’s fine.. better if its for free) We were asked not to leave after check out due she (the front desk staff) wasn’t able to confirm our payment even though we already paid it upon checking in. No OR was given. Just the card print out bill. We wouldn’t be able to checked in or got up to our room if we haven’t paid yet… A bit of a hassle… I hope this won’t happen again cos I would be glad to come back.
