Great and friendly staff. Customer service was execellent. Rooms was clean and well equipped. Resturant and bar area was also good. All in all, definitely worth your money!

I have never seen such a good service anywhere else (including some extremely fancy resorts). The staff are simply the most professional that I have seen. The attention to detail in the room, daily ammenities were astonishing. From front desk to the bar they have their stuff together. They remember your food preferences or which drink you had 2 days ago. Crazy.

We chose the Funny Lion for two of our stops, in El Nido and in Coron. And we couldn't do a better choice. We had two wonderful stays in both places and we would sincerely recommend it to our friends and relatives. The rooms are modern and clean, the staff is genuinely welcoming and caring and attention is paid to details. Plus, food is great, they offer happy hour on several alcoholic drinks every day and there's always free water available at all times (breakfast, meals and throughout the day). Free gadgets for guests available in the room.

Staff were very friendly, hotel was very clean and relaxing, breakfast was lovely. Easy 5 min tuk tuk ride into town. Great small touches upon arrival such as fresh fruit and smoothies in fridge.

- Floor in the room wasn’t clean enough to be barefoot or in white socks without getting dirty feet. - Shower area was a bit dark in terms of the lighting.

Service at the restaurant was incredibly slow, breakfast was odd but the eggs/omelette chef was very obliging. Incredible that after a week, one last had no idea of our room number and really couldn’t even smile.

The property was good, clean, well kept, air con was good, pools clean and nothing to complain about.

The only downside of this hotel is that there's no gym.

This was our favorite place we stayed in the Philippines. The staff was really lovely. The hotel had so many lovely little extras which set it apart, like fresh fruit drinks in the fridge, turndown service, towels to borrow during daily outings, etc. The pools were great, the spa treatment we had was top-notch, the food in the restaurant was great (I especially want to thank Ian, the F&B Head, who checked in on us every day, and extended great hospitality) and the cocktails at the bar were also excellent. We stayed for a week, and would definitely stay here again if we come back to Coron!

Very nice hotel in the middle of the mangroves. Beautiful and spacious room (our favourite one throughout our holidays) and fantastic service. Amenities were pretty incredible with two pools, two restaurants, etc. Easy to get to town as well.

Everything about the hotel was perfect. The staff were outstanding with their attentiveness and always serving with a smile! There was a rooftop bar with a stunning sunset view and had a happy hour with delicious cocktails. The pool was gorgeous as well with comfortable deck chairs and beds. The rooms were very spacious and clean as well.

The staff and the facilities are joint first place. Service and attentiveness of the staff was outstanding, everything done with a smile too! The aesthetic of the whole place is very classy, feels like a 5 star hotel. Room was huge and always clean. Overall just amazing value for money. Shoutout to Ian who was the star of our stay.

Staff… Ms Kim and team set a professional and personable lead, with first class service and friendly demeanour. Savannah room was spacious, modern, great water pressure showers, roof top bar happy hours and sunsets, great food. Luxury quality bedding. Breakfast spread plenty of options.

The Wifi throughout the hotel was horrible, would not recommend if you are traveling for business and need to work remotely.
