Heater is old, water is a just a bit warm but on the colder side. Their reservation team did not communicate what they committed on booking.com chat box - I booked 2 rooms and specifically asked for the rooms to be beside each other and for complimentary setup. Both were confirmed by The Lake Hotel representative via chat on the app, but both weren't given to us when we checked in.

The room is spacious thooo we found a BIG spider hehe. It didn’t bit us thought.

Has the best view of taal. Lounging in the pool area with such view takes you on a diff level of unwinding! The crew are the nicest and ambiance is lovely with the pianist playing almost the whole day.

We booked a room with view of taal volcano , but they give us a room with view blocked by tree and other balcony of the building , and the room was in a bad condition with many loose and broken tiles on the floor , they offered us another room to change to that had mold above the airconditioner , we did not accept it and gave us another room with mountain view and it was ok ,our last night finally they transfer us to a room with view of the taal.

Dirty Scammers - showing standard rooms - 0n the Booking.cim - your site - with a view that I booked, and paid for... insisting that I paid for 2 rooms, because we were 4 persons - in their underground dungeon rooms.(Pointless Window covered by curtain against a concrete wall -25 cm away.. No view, no light, no natural ventilation ) For 3 adults and a 4 year old kid. 2 rooms=P 10,500... I asked for them to provide what was offered, and was told that I had to pay P1,400 extra upgrade per room - We saw the upgrade room (same as we booked with a view and balcony) and as it had 2 double beds, perfect for a little family.(Booking.com rate P7,500) Eventually Allowed us to have only one room , waiving the 'upgrade' charge but Not giving any refund. I was obliged to give a security deposit on check in, Not returned on check out... But 20 days later The Buffet Breakfast was an extreme disappointment.

The elevator was small. The room look old but it was clean

Just a tiny bit & I'm just nit-picking...As our room is literally in the center and when you go out you can see the serene fountains at the lobby. But these fountains you can hear loudly from our our room up to a certain time in the evening, then at night, you can hear the cars & even trucks passing by. Maybe the rooms need a bit of a sound proofing. Overall, hotdl is fabulous, dnjoyed our stay & will definitely come bck again.

I loved our stay at the hotel. All staff were very helpful, pleasant & accommodating. I love Contis too and the fact that there is one attached to the hotel is a plus. It is right next to shops and restaurant. I didn't get to go to the new Starbucks, which is just a short walking distance from the hotek, as there's still a bit of a queue. But why bother to go when our room offers the same amazing view? You can also enjoy the view by the poolside, or when you just seat out (you can also do this while having a coffee)at the comfy seats in the quiet lounge area at the lobby, with a soothing piano background.

The pool looked great and had great views but a little weird that anyone dining will also see you lounging around in the pool or even swimming.

The room was clean, comfortable, and had all the amenities that we needed.
