Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

DenmarkVery expensive parking, 140zł/day. It’s worth to park your car in one of the private parkings close by for half the price.
Pool and sauna, great view from the balcony. Tasty breakfast with broad variety of products.

GermanyThe parking was 30€, too much! We didn’t reserve it. The pool water was cold, and what I didn’t like is that was mostly visited by old people. Sauna was always full by them. Also, there was no list of the rules in the hotel; we smoked one cigarette in the balcony and they told us it is not allowed (we didn’t know!). We saw some other people smoking on the balcony thus we thought it was ok. However, it turned out to not be ok since that’s a policy in Poland. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ - We were about to get punished 100€! Thanks to the receptionist they didn’t - she helped us translating from English to Polish since the main managers didn’t know English😢. MAIN MANAGERS!!
The location is very good, the hotel is very clean, breakfast was amazing, it is one of the best breakfasts I‘ve eaten in Europe! I also liked the receptionist who we made check in and check out with. She was amazing, I think her name was Mariana or something with M.

IrelandWiFi was not reliable. Loud music from morning till midnight. Room wasn't ready, I had to ask for missing bedding and towels for my kid. Car park cost, 129 zl per night, is twice the market rate in this area. I parked for 60 zl nearby. Modest facilities - no gym, no wet room, no jacuzzi. Outdoor pool not heated, so I haven't seen any guests using it.
The seafront and central location is second to none. Great sea views and sunsets.

Germany1. The hotel doesn't have a key card holder by the door, which led to my friend locking herself out of her room no less than three times in 2 days. The personnel opened her door with no problems every time, but she was mortified. Not very convenient. 2. The pierogi in a hotel restaurant - better order something else. 3. Spa treatments are expensive - prices aren't any lower than in Berlin. 4. There's a beauty salon on premises but it doesn't belong to the hotel, so it's not possible to book something from beauty procedures on hotel website. Spa treatments belonging to the hotel offer only include massage.
Perfectly clean, great location, comfortable beds. I liked the interior and that there were a lot of options for the kids. Hotel staff was very accommodating and nice. The pool was warm and relaxing, even if not too big. Breakfast was good and even had children's self-service table - appropriate height so that even toddlers could grab the food themselves. Nice touch.

SwedenNo bedding mattress in the sofa bed. only a spring mattress so you feel the steel springs all night. We stayed in a suite. it says: free beach-beds, but you still have to go in to the reception and pick up and pay for mattresses for the sun-bed. Chaos to get a sun-bed in the morning: the poor nice staff had to run all the way inside and pick up parasol and mattresses , total madness not to have all the stuff at the beach in the morning , poor staff. I have been traveling around the world and never experienced such an outdated pool. We never dared to use it. The whole pool area is a disaster and not cared for at all My bad: didn’t look carefully at the information when booking: no AC and almost 40 degrees when we were there.
nice location at the (crazy crowded beach) really Nice staff. really nice breakfast .

PolandBefore booking a room in the hotel we called to them and ask if they had available rooms on the west side with a view on the pierce. We were told that they had rooms of those type. We asked what we needed to do to book one of them, and they said that we would need just to write a message when requesting a new reservation. So we did it at once, but when we arrived they put us to the room on the east side with a much worse view in our opinion. We asked about the reason and they told us they they saw our request but they didn't have available rooms of that type. Keeping in mind that we booked a room 2 weeks before arriving, we felt really upset. And it seemed to me that the staff didn't look sorry about it. On the first day we also notified the staff on the reception that we had a broken door handle, it worked, but we were afraid that it could break off. They told us that they would do something. Next day, as the door handle wasn't fixed we asked again about fixing it, and they told that they would call a locksmith. We never heard about the progress on this case, but when we were checking out, our door handle was still broken. We had also problems with the WiFi, our devices were constantly disconnected, so the internet was not stable, and we used our own mobile internet. On the second day, we asked the staff about it, they said that they had never had the problems with the WiFi before, so they would try to do something, probably, reboot the router. I am not sure if they tried to fix it somehow, we tried it several times more but the problem still existed, so we kept using our mobiles. During the check out, I paid for the parking space, and received a printed invoice. While I was trying to double-check the costs, they started serving the next person, though I was still standing near the front desk. I wouldn't pay attention to this, but considering our whole experience at this hotel, it made me feel that the staff didn't care about me at all.
The location is really good, there are a lot of restaurants and cafes around; the hotel has their own place on the beach so you will always find a place to sunbathe. The staff from the cleaning service and the restaurant are very friendly.

IrelandWe book 2 rooms for 4 adults and 2 children but when we arrived the receptionist said it was the price for 4 adults only and if I want extra bed for 2 children I have to pay 25e extra each per day. It was very unfair as I book our stay on booking.com for 6 people! For 4 star hotel breakfast was very poor, every day the same. The pool and kids area was very small and very limited. I don’t think I will ever go back to that hotel!
Nice location, close to the sea.

GermanyThe rooms were very small for 2 adults and 1 kid and did not have air conditioner or fans. We went during hot wave in June. One of the elevators was not working, so slowed down transit. The parking lot was full when we got there so had to park on street, so reserve your parking in advance. I would have liked a beach/pool bar to order draft beer instead of the bottle beer. There was construction going on putting in a new deck, so there was added noise that would not have normally been there.
I liked the beach, pool area, the Decor of the place were very nice and staff was nice. I liked that there was a special area reserved for guests and you got the lounge chairs, umbrellas, towels, robes. They keep everything very clean especially in the inside pool area. They had a nice cool water tank to get water when you were thirsty. It was a family friendly atmosphere. Very close to center of town and lots of amenities, food, drink right across the street.
