the room could be cleaned more often than once every 3 days. although i wouldn't call the room dirty, a more detailed cleaning was certainly necessary, as there were dusty reading glasses on the floor behind the bedside table that belonged to who knows which guest before us. i found it rather easily by accident and if that went unnoticed by the cleaning staff, god knows what else also did. we also used the laundry services and even though it was a fine service, we thought it was a bit overpriced, but of course this is a subjective comment. if you want to go to the beach every day to swim, this hotel might not be the best option, but we also tried it and it wasn't so bad. the beach was pleasant but we couldn't have taken the bus in our wet swimsuits (the journey takes 10 minutes, but you would have to walk for 15-20 minutes to the bus station, and even in the middle of summer gdynia was cool), so keep that in mind and make sure to change at the beach (there are public open showers and very basic changing rooms at the beach). finally, if you have plenty of luggage maybe it would be a better idea to book a taxi to and from the main train station because there are many stairs to take between the bus stop and the train station.

we were in gdynia for open'er festival and antares hotel was a comfortable choice. we arrived late (around midnight) to the train station and did not need to wait a lot to take a bus to the hotel. there is a bus stop just down the street from the hotel where several bus lines took us to the main station, from there we took the festival buses. the hotel is located in a quiet location and is not in walking distance to the city center or the beach, but both are easily accessible by bus. there are several supermarkets close by and the amenities in the room such as the minibar, kettle, glasses etc. were adequate for our stay. the room and the bathroom were not cramped, there were adequate pillows and towels, and water pressure was fine. bottled water (still or sparkling) was provided every day during our stay, which was very nice. the breakfast did not have a huge variety but had all that we needed: 3+ cheeses, fresh fruits and vegetables, cold cut meats, scrambled eggs, grilled mushrooms (delicious!) and veggies, juices, desserts, several breads. i did not need it but noticed there weren't a lot of cereals or jams for those who prefer. also, vegan options were very limited. we also used the indoor pool, which was tiny but clean. pool towels were also provided free of charge in the locker rooms of the pool. the staff were very attentive and polite before and during our stay, and we received a warm welcome. overall this is a very good value hotel that we enjoyed.

Generally very positive, great staff who was very nice and helpful, the cleanliness of the room was a plus. Rich breakfast, large selection of products. Distance to the city is about 10 minutes by bus. Even faster by car and it is impossible to get lost because there is one straight street (about 4 km). The swimming pool, small gym and sauna deserve a big plus.

Room service did not make the beds or tidy the room, they only changed the towels. Breakfast was mediocre at best with very limited vegan options. There was a shortage of towels at the pool/spa area but that's minor. Photos of rooms online were slightly misleading.

There were too many pork at the breakfast, it would be good to add chicken/beef sausages.

The hotel has very nice facilities, including swimming pool, gym, sauna, billiard and a small play room for small kids. It has a free parking space in front of the hotel. The kitchen is good, a bit expensive for 3 star hotel. The hotel is children friendly.

staff was very polite always smiling helped me with anything I asked .It is clean everywhere in a hotel. There were not too many people in swimming pool usually 1 or 2 swimmers and water in a pool clean and warm I just loved going to pool.Breakfast very tasty variety of dishes lots of vegetables and fruits served food so tasty like at home looking very appetite .10 stars for food.

When booking there was.a free Airport to hotel shuttle highlighted but that doesn't exist.

Yep the location, that is the only drawback I can think of.... This drawback is slightly strengthened by the poor municipal communication(SKM is slow and stops are far of) i strongly advise to call for taxi(use the reception desk personnel).

Well first of all despite-the fact that the hotel is officially considerer a 3 star standard, i would say, a 3,5* . would be more correct: definitively closer to 4 , then 3.. Breakfast is fantastic and provided from a very early hour (6AM- till relatively late-11AM , for the 'sleepy heads'. Despite the fact that here is no AC in rooms yet, the rooms are calm and dry, so no problems(confirmed in 30+ degrees outside) Two elevators. Wi FI works franticly well n the whole builfing( so you can log in and continue working in the hallway, not only in your room. the location, yes its not the best, relative far from the city centre but at the same time, close to the harbour. Pricing ,it could have need cheaper, but i booked only a week prior to the trip, so if you book early , you'll get better prices. Great value for cash
