Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThis hotel is faultless, and if you want a stay that's perfect from start to finish, stay here.
It's an absolutely beautiful hotel. The rooms are stunning, and the location is ideal, as you are located actually on the main square. The view made it very special. The staff will help you with anything you need and are always available.

SloveniaUnlike the personnel at the reception, all of them extremely polite and willing to be of assistance, the two ladies in charge of breakfast, were their opposite.
Top/Central location with breathtaking views on the Rynek Glowny. Spacious and tastefully decorated rooms.

GreeceThe view and the rooms (top floor) where absolutely amazing!!! You could see & feel the city vibe overlooking the whole square at any time (without being bothered by loud noise). That's what this hotel is about: into the heart of the city! If you love hotels with spacious areas and luxurious receptions look elsewhere. If you want to love Krakow you are in the right place. But the crown jewel of the hotel is it's staff. Marios, Bart, Gregory, you are irreplaceable! I didn't need to search for anything (even though i did search), those guys are right about everything, just ask them. Special thanks to Gregory!

IrelandThe beds were very hard. Really uncomfortable and that's the only reason I'd hesitate about staying again. I don't know if its because we asked that the double bed be seperated into twins and maybe they removed the top mattress but it felt like we were j7st sleeping on a base. We were in room 25. Also the little fridge was filled with random items like 1 orange juice, 1 red bull, a bounty bar and a few other bits. We thought the last guests had left them and we were surprised when we were charged for the 2 items we had taken when we checked out.
The location cannot be beaten and the view over the market square is superb. Liked that there was a bath and shower. Also robes and slippers were provided and there was a hairdryer, iron, ironing board in the room. The room was large, though a bit cluttered with unnecessary furniture. The staff were friendly and helpful.

United KingdomVery central location which was handy, however, we were disturbed by the late night/early morning revellers eating and drinking directly outside the hotel in the square.
Lovely historic hotel, spacious rooms, extremely comfortable beds, spotlessly clean, very friendly and helpful staff and delicious breakfasts.

United StatesThere is nothing I didn't like - the staff was extremely helpful and kind. Probably the best hotel experience I've ever had - it is a boutique hotel and provides a great experience. No complaints whatsoever.
Location is outstanding and the veiw out of the rooms was great. 15 of the 19 rooms face the old town square. The four rooms without a view of the square end in 6 (e.g., 36). All other rooms face the square (e.g., 31, 32, 33, 34, 35).

United KingdomThe hotel no longer runs restaurants but there are plenty of great places to eat nearby.
The hotel, slightly old-fashioned in the best possible way, could not be better located - right on the main square but, with the double glazing, not noisy.

United KingdomHard to fault, breakfast was acceptable but not outstanding. Hair dryer was a bit slow. Only woken once by a stag party outside at 2am, typical English louts of course, but that's acceptable in a hotel in the heart of a city.
Stunning location, stunning view. Can't think of a better place to stay if you want the main square. Hotel has a lift which is handy when on 2nd/3rd floor as the old stairs whilst large/wide are not straight as it's an old building which is fascinating to see. Room & beds comfortable, bathroom a nice size. Bit of a quirky set-up as the restaurant is next door, connected via a secure door on 1st floor (key card needed to get back into hotel), We didn't eat in their restaurant as so many to choose from on the square, but did have a coffee in the front part which also sells cakes etc. Front desk manned 24hrs which was nice to see, always a friendly smile as we left/entered and helped us on a few things we'd ask.

United KingdomIf anything the staff are to attentive being in my mid 20s having the main desk stand up each time I arrive or leave, but I said once I didn't like them standing for me and they remembered each time so again. Great hotel
Absolutely outstanding location, staff, facilities and restaurant. Would highly recommend to anyone. Huge baths available in most rooms, rooms are gorgeously decorated. It's hard to pick the best room as the front has the view of the square but the rear has south facing balconies that allow for great sun all day
