How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Kitchen was quite basic, it could've been equipped better. When I wanted to make breakfast for my family there was no boards or knifes because somebody else took it.
We had a nice big room, it was very clean. Had a terrace too. Bathroom was spacious and clean as well. They had some spare blankets in the wardrobe if needed, wardrobes, table and chairs. We loved playing with their dog too, probably one of bedt attractions hah.

When we arrived there was a large Alsatian dog barking loudly. Turns out he's very friendly but we weren't to know that. Had to call the host and then she came out to let us in. It's a bit of a walk in to the centre where the bars and restaurants are but that didn't really worry us. Some might find it a bit far.
Absolutely spotless, the other rooms shared the kitchen but were very respectful, not making a noise or mess. Bed comfortable and shower good. There is a separate entrance at the rear of the building. Supermarket and lovely fruit and veg shop close by.

Only the hand towels were missing - If added can be beneficial otherwise the towel is the only source
I give a 10/10 because of the following - Location - Just next to Dworzec PKP and Bus station and 900 mtrs walking from KRUPOWKI street Rooms - Just perfect like a 4 star hotel.Its a villa and a place to stay when in Zakopane to have the real feeling.All wooden, well equipped kitchen with Refrigirator,utensils,basic necessities.The toilets were clean and so well setup.Beds were comfortable and was provided blankets and duets.The linen was full of fragrance.Every room has a balcony to smoke or have some beer.Room of 3 was spacious with a wardrobe,dining table,TV with streamin services and blackout windows for better sleep in the mornings. Host - Anna was superhelpful in escoritng to the rooms and giving a demo of how it looks like.Do's and don't since it is a house and not a hotel for safety reasons.She also provided me a Fan since we come from a hot region and take time to adapt to the weather. Additional benefits - Her son - Damian owns a Cab/Taxi who is super helpful and available when we wanted at a reasonable price.Very much recommended.Both the owner and the Son speak English. If I come Zakopane again, I will surely book this place again since it is all you want for an awesome price.

The shared kitchen was great. But a ventilation hood for the kitchen would be a great addition.
The apartment is near to the main railway station and bus station. This makes it very easy to reach all the attractions and trails. There is a good supermarket near the train station. There is also a Zabka on way to the apartment from the station. The city center is within 15 mins of walking. The apartment is very clean. The room was cozy and comfortable. The rooms have a good balcony with a table and chairs to sit and enjoy the place. The hostess is very welcoming. She was kind and very nice. The shared kitchen was great. It is good value for money.

As it's an attic room, the slope of the roof means you can't properly stand up in the shower. But we learned the art of a sitting shower and given the value for money, we were happy to do so.
Great location just a short walk from the train station. The room was cozy and comfortable. The owner was helpful in recommending hikes nearby. The shared kitchen area was nice to store snacks and have access to glassware and cutlery. Would certainly stay again.

There was only one smaller blanket for 2 of us. It was not very comfortable. Also on booking.com it is mentioned that there is TV with Netflix, but there is not.
Great location. Nice and clean place. Parking was full inside, but we could easily park on the street. It was very good for one night stay.

The breakfast was ok, a pre packed lunch. I did not like the fact that we had the same pre packed breakfast on the Christmas day and had to pay double the money. The property is not ideal for normal tall persons. I had 3 rooms. 2 of the rooms were situated at the upper level of the building. My friends had to stay in an uncomfortable position during their stay in their room.

There wasn't hot water, and it wasn't comfortable after a day of hiking.
It was clean, it was close to the centrum. The owner was friendly.
