It is a good breakfast but the price is over the top, 45 euro's per person is too much for a breakfast.

Some things were too expensive - €25 for a pilates session and €45 for breakfast. The hotel is on lots of different levels and is not very accessible for those in wheelchairs.

Beautifully designed and maintained hotel with great facilities. The beds were nice and the room very sound proof. The park surrounding the hotel is lovely for walks. We enjoyed the free coffee and water.

Very long wait for dinner in the main restaurant (1,5 hour). It was rather slippery shower tray in the room for my husband.

The bathroom had a glass dividing wall and the glass door didn’t even stay closed (so it’s not ideal for people who don’t know each other well!) The bistro was pleasant but expensive for what we had. We ordered 2 espressos and were charged €19.

Beautifully decorated and luxurious hotel. The staff were great and the room was spacious. The hotel is nicely located on a park so it’s great to have a long walk before the using the spa and then dinner.

Nothing, it's the perfect hotel and there is nothing I can imagine that would make it better, except perhaps if I were allowed to live there on a permanent basis.

A great stay as always at the Butte aux Bois, and very difficult to leave after only one night! The hotel is immaculate and beautiful, the spa is pristine and relaxing, and the staff are extremely courteous and attentive. The perfect hotel.

Make sure you don’t have a room in “The Villa”. The door quality is totally not matched with the hotel’s rating. They slam and make a lot of noise. Especially if there is a wedding at the venue. You can hear everyone during the night entering and leaving. Even if they try to be quiet. The soundproofing is worthless. The rest of the room is super.

Personnel mainly speaks dutch which leads to sometimes us getting lost in translation in french (spouse does not speak english/dutch)

Chocolate on the bed when they get the room ready for the night. Facility is very great and overall very pleasent staff. Quite place relaxing, very enjoyable. Very clean and awesome views from rooms.

Next time would choose the more modern rooms in new wing over the separate villa rooms which are still nice but an older style.

Woodland location was ideal for long dog walks. Spa treatments (thx Barbara!) were fantastic, and spa itself is in a gorgeous modern building with pool. Restaurant El Ciel was also fantastic loved our meal. Lobby and all communal areas make such an impression 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Nothing not to like. I regret I did not have time to visit the other facilities.

Very welcoming and comfortable. The staff went out of their way on both visits to make sure that my two small dogs and I were happy - the beds, bowls and treats for my dogs were much appreciated. My meals were truly delicious and as it happens, I had room service during my stay - all perfect and on time, including early breakfasts.

Beautiful location with a friendly and professional "onthaal" incl. a short tour of the facilities. The porter takes your luggage to the room and valet parking. All facilities incl. full functional wellness are spotless and top notch. Two excellent in-house restaurants to choose from. Breakfast was one of the best we had in a life of int. traveling.
