There were no towels for cleaning the dishes. There was also no place to hang the towels in the bathroom. The bed matress is a bit worn out.

Only one double bed, should had one double and single. Only one cover on double bed. Patches in linings. Only soap in shower. Room was very clean. Access very good.

This didn't bother me personally, but there were strange noises from the shower drain after I had had my shower. Not loud, not annoying to me, but other guests might not like such a thing.

I am not very demanding of my holiday accommodation. Just a good bed, nice warm shower and clean bathroom, plenty of wardrobe space and/or drawers, good WiFi. The usual things. So I was EXTREMELY pleased to see the room I had been given! Maybe I just got lucky, but I had a really BIG room with a very welcoming feel to it after a hard journey by train. Just what I needed! I don't usually take photos of my room, but I did in this one. Maybe they were expecting King Charles, but I think I got the best of the rooms at Willa Ela. I had already checked the location, but it was even BETTER when I got there. Not only was it in walking distance of the Oliwa district and all that I love there, BUT it was in EASY walking distance of "Zielony Targ" (the "Green Market") which has a really great weekend and mid-week flea market. This is one of the things you HAVE TO see when in Gdansk and it was a BIG BONUS that I was near it too as well as Oliwa. And as ANOTHER bonus, I had a kettle and tea-making facilities in the room. It is not something I NEED to have in holiday accommodation, but it was VERY nice to have this here. The room was always very warm when I came back, and as I was there on some pretty cold weather days, this was a very good thing too! And did I mention that Willa Ela is in a VERY quiet, residential area. No tourist noise, only the occasional noise of people passing by and seagulls outside. And I have to also mention that Willa Ela is ONLY 15 minutes easy walk from Gdansk Oliwa train station and SKM.

Unfortunately, there were no Wi-Fi signal in the room, only in the lobby. One towel was stained and one bedsheet had somebody’s hair on it. I also wouldn’t mind to have a shampoo apart from soap.

Sunny and pleasant room, easy moving in/out, comfortable beds, quietness, shops and parks nearby.

There wasn't any breakfast, none at all, even a bad one, nevermind the good one mentioned by other reviewers. I strayed nearer the kitchen and saw a massive box of eggs on the counter, so it wasn't for a lack of supplies. Bit upsetting

The owner was very responsive and careful about our asks, and for that I highly respect them. The room was very good, clean and tidy. The room essentially included everything that was needed.

Reception wasn't working (phone number on door). No breakfast available (cook apparently on holiday). No tv remote (not a problem actually as room miniscule). Tiny room in attic on third floor (lift only to second) with skylights, so standing on tiptoes for any kind of view. Window blinds a mess. Missing lock in door, hole stuffed with paper. Two small sconces for any kind of light. Shower head crusted over and mostly blocked.

Location (minutes from train station - though about half an hour to beach). Quiet area, food shops nearby (this proved important). Small fridge as well as kettle in room. Microwave, plates and additional cutlery in corridor. Fairly clean (don't move the fridge though)

1. Some of the furniture/facilities needs replacement/repairments. It's old and scratchy which makes the feeling of dirtiness. The electric kettle was dirty and had a broken lid. 2. There were three cups but only one teaspoon in a room with 3 pockets of tea and sugar for 3 days, 2 people. 3. Some of the bathroom facilities were rusty. A glass shelf above the washstand was attached at an angle, so everything I put there was sliding down and falling. Also, the shower door did not close properly so it was a bit open while taking a shower. 4. Basically, many things in a room, including the wall panels, were fragile as if made of paper.

Great location, cozy and calm neighbourhood, comfortable beds, an electric kettle, private bathroom.

Pictures on the website were totally different from the reality- reality was much worse. Unfortunately the condition of our room was bad- smelled (all the house smelled like cigarettes and warm-up-soup); I’m not sure the sheets and towels were clean and in the toilet there were somekind of insects running around on the floor. We weren’t able to stay there for a night.

-The Wifi was not working at all -the toilet and bathroom were in horrible shape, dirty and stinky. Literally disgusted -they left a kettle and some glasses for coffee and all the glasses were stained -for some reason, they locked the windows and it was hot as hell inside because of this. I couldn't sleep -they say that there is a mini refrigerator. Yes there is. After staying inside overnight, my water was warmer than the other bottle in the room. -It was so dusty that my wife became sick who has allergy to excessive dust -the towels were smelly, gave the impression of unclean -we didn't even see the receptionist at all, nowhere to be found -the lift was not working

Parts of the rooms were dated as far as the decor but overall - it was just perfect for me-nice and quiet- I could relax.

The receptionist Monica was welcoming and flexible. The sheets and pillows were soft and comfortable, super tall ceilings, lots of light and space. Just what I needed plus a little bit more.
