The room equipment looks a bit old and the AC on our room was too loud. The bathroom was very small.

The accommodation looks as described. It is good for one night stay, located near from La Placita de Santurce. If you enjoy walking like we do, you can go to Viejo San Juan by feet - approximately 1-hour walk. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The price is good and it corresponds with the quality.

The neighbourhood was very noisy until after 2 am which made sleep difficult. No TV. Small room with adjacent bathroom.

Easy check-in. Patio on 2nd floor was pleasant but not suitable for dining. Location was near good restaurants. Safe area.

Some of the guests distroyed some of our things and took our food that we had named with a marker from our doorm. We told the staf but nothing realy happend..

Nice rooftop, very Nice area and walking distanse to a lot of museums, downtown and beaches. The staff was the best!

Not quiet. Room was adjacent to common area and people were carrying on loudly. Roaches. On the edge of sketchy neighborhood.

Easy check in. 15 min walk to beach. Hot water in shower. A/C was cold.

My room was dirty upon checkin with hair and clipped nails on the floor yet I was rushed out of the room so it could be cleaned before my checkout time and the lady was not friendly.

I was greeted in a friendly manner and some of the staff was friendly.

They don’t clean the bathroom.Every day. I wanted to boil water to make tea. They gave me a pan. There is no even a kettle.

The bed felt like it was falling apart, would have been better to just have the mattress on the floor.

The staff was friendly, since it’s a hostel there is a kitchen with all supplies that’s needed and you have your own room which is great. The area felt safe even thought it looks a little ruff. And you got towels to use 👍🏻

The place needs to be cleaned better ..the kitchen is not useful outdoor dirty pots and pans are not useless. Bot good for handicap person. No security after 10pm ..Area is safe .

The staff shouldn’t be working in a hostel. Very rude and don’t care about their guests. Not friendly at all!

There were cockroaches. Rat droppings were found. Lockers need updating. Some were bent, out of shape. They need to fumigate, invest in some good shelves and lockers, maybe close the kitchen so cats dont come.

Location is nice! Food trucks nearby. Close enough to old town. Met some really nice ppl there. Big bathroom attached to room. Female dorm!

There were cockroaches! Each day found one dead. And they weren’t cleaned out either during the day. Apparently there were mice. I did see rat droppings in the room. They need to get a fumigator. The lockers need to be updated. They are bent out of shape. The kitchen is open so cats there whenever u try to eat food. There needs to be more space to store food since food can’t be stored in rooms due to mice issue and cockroaches. Maybe close the kitchen and build shelves to store peoples food. There weren’t any sockets near each bed. Need more sockets that work. There was gum stuck under the too bunk where i slept!

The location was not too far from old town. Had a food truck lot with multiple food trucks within walking distance. Ppl were nice. Private bathroom attached to room was a plus. Having a female dorm was nice. Lockers in room.

rooms need to be deep cleaned and also common area like the kitchen but mostly the room for health purposes. old structures so need maintenance

The wifi signal didn't reach higher levels. The sheets were washed in a strong fragrance detergent. Most places don't use fragrance because of skin sensitivities. It was a bit dirty in the room and bathroom. Pillow case had dirt on it. Not a lot of parking but was expected for the city.

Location was nearby many shops and food. They have nice staff. Very laid back, good manners, good vibes and offered to help if you want things to do in the area.

A staff member called Tiger turned the light of my room ON at 11'30 PM while she was showing the hostel to a new host. She should respect certain rules being a staff member.

One of the staff members helped me a lot providing me medical care,he was so kind.

Waaaaayy to much activity, music playing, talking outside ALL NIGHT LONG....not until midnight, or 2 am....ALL NIGHT LONG EVERYNIGHT till 6 am.....

The room was oddly shaped with outlets in odd locations. For some reason there was a full length mirror next to the bed and a full mirror above the bed. The bathroom sink was actually a kitchen sink, and the faucet was so loose that it felt like we might accidentally pull it out. Lastly the sheets were bare. Additional note: There is a bar across the street that played loud music and there were people coming in and out of the hostel (from what sounded like the bar) all night the one night that we stayed at Casa Santurce. The music was blasting until around 6:45/7 AM. Not sure if this was because it was Sanse (the San Sebastian Festival) or whether it happens more often. In the middle of the night on two (2) separate occasions, someone tried to enter our room - not sure if they were another guest or an errant person from the bar. This put us even more on edge, and we couldn't get a decent night's sleep.

The room had the basics, and they worked. It had hot water, a functional AC, and clean sheets and towels. The room itself was clean.

there's the bar close to the hostel, it was super noisy throughout the night. my earplugs even didn't work.

There's a bar in front of the hotel, they are loud the whole night... you can hear (even upstairs) people drinking and making noise. They place is quite basic, it has a terrace which I can say was the best part, a friday night I went to the terrace and I was badly asked to go back because there was a private party happening in there. They have a non-tidy shared kitchen, but other guests ate my leftovers and the food I kept in the fridte.

it's well located, easy to reach with public transportation.
