The AC in the rooms were too cold, I think I got ill from it.

The communication from start to finish was phenomenal! I had asked questions before the date I needed to check in and the staff were attentive to my queries. When I checked in, the lovely lady, Ivanna, at the reception was really welcoming and made sure I was helped with my bags up to my room. It was a bonus that I was able to check in early too, even though I had to pay an extra night as my plane landed at 3am that morning. When I asked the afternoon staff about recommendations of places to eat, they knew right away where. The location is convenient to restaurants, ATMs and the beach/seafront! It was only a lovely 3 min chill walk to there! The room was clean, the toilets were clean. The showers could be a little bit cleaner though but it was very decent.

The hostel and the room are spot on and sparking clean!! I loved the super comfy and king size bed (in the dorm !!) Check in at any time as there is 24/24 reception.

Extremely clean. Great value. About a 15-20 min walk to Reach old San Juan. Staff was absolutely friendly and helpful. Good location just have to walk some. Plenty of showers and bathrooms. Never had to wait. Big bed for a hostel.

The rooms are too cold. The AC is set to 75 but some of the beds are very close to the AC which means the cold air is directly on you and it’s uncomfortable. However, they can adjust the temperature for a short period until the room becomes less chilly. However, they do have to maintain the temperature at 75 for the majority of the time.

Comfortable Stay my stay at [Julius, digital nomad women’s only hostel] was pleasant and comfortable. The facilities were clean, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. However, there were a couple of aspects that could have been better.Firstly, the location of the hostel was not ideal as there was little around in terms of amenities. While the presence of male security provided a sense of safety, the surrounding area appeared somewhat deserted and potentially unsafe.Additionally, I was initially taken aback by the fact that the hostel was designated for women only. Although I appreciated the intention behind this policy, I found it somewhat unsettling that male workers were present on the premises throughout the day. While they did not bother me, their presence did detract from the exclusivity of the women-only environment.Furthermore, the room temperature was uncomfortably cold during my stay. However, the staff promptly provided me with an extra blanket comforter, which helped to keep me warm and cozy throughout the night. Without it, I would have been miserable freezing every night.Despite these concerns, I would still rate my experience positively. My stay at [Juliet, nomads women only] was truly delightful, thanks to its proximity to both Old San Juan and a nearby beach. The beds are comfy, cold water machine, a Bodega across the street, food truck on the park across the street. Buses T9 and T5 to Walmart are nearby, also near Old San Juan and the beach. Air conditioning is good. Bathrooms and showers are sufficient. Nice decor and aesthetic, good price.

Stayed in two rooms. One room had an unfortunate window over a bunk that brought in a lot of light and the other was next to a courtyard that had loud music.

Everyone was so friendly. The double beds are amazing. The location was great and had very close and easy parking.

The street below was quite noisy as the windows are built to let in a little bit of air and thus are not sound proof. Additionally, this meant that even at night our room was flooded with light and it made it hard to sleep. I think a nice addition to each room would be curtains around each bed to allow for light sensitivity and a little bit of privacy.

I really enjoyed my stay at this location! I felt very safe and secure both personally and with my belongings. Everyone (the other women staying at the hostel and the staff) were extremely friendly and made sure we had everything we needed the entire time.

Neighborhood location. It was a good walking distance to plaza colon however the walk to/from did not feel the safest. Would not walk there alone at night.
