    “The staff were really friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Although a small menu choice the food was outstanding, combined with the view from the dining room it was a great experience. The chef took time to chat to us - food locally sourced. Breakfast was lovely too - fruit,cereals,breads,scrambled egg,ham,cheeses. Coffee available at any time in the dining room, no tea/coffee equipment in the room. Too early in the season to use the pool but it was lovely overlooking Douro valley. Pet friendly - we did a beautiful (steep) walk along an old road to Cinfaes which took about 2 1/2 hours round trip. Some restaurants and cafes in Cinfaes. Amazing views. Lovely lounge with log burner”

    “Beautiful surroundings and amazing hosts. Maria and her mother are kind and made us feel at home. The breakfast was always delicious and prepared on time. Maria gave us amazing restaurant and trails ideas. The house has a beautiful decoration, modern countryside style, absolutely peaceful ! Thank you so much, hope to see you again!”

    “A wonderful and quiet location where you can explore the Porto to Pinhao (car or train), Amarante/Braga areas. The freshly renovated building sits high on the hill overlooking the town with spectacular views. Everything was provided, including some refreshments. Isabel and Jorge were excellent hosts.”
