“Lovely attentive staff, relaxed vibe around the common area. Each morning a cute breakfast ready to enjoy. Right next to the prettiest end and beach of the island. Perfect to wind down and relax.”
“The property was very clean, well equipped and perfect for our stay. It was an easy 15 minute walk from the airport and about 10 minute further to the centre of town/beach. The directions to locate the property were clear so our arrival at 10pm was fine. The owner (Diana) was helpful throughout, answering questions about travel and left a bottle of Port with cake for our arrival. The apartment lacked nothing, with a modern kitchen, good quality furniture, hot water at all times and comfortable throughout. There was absolutely no noise to trouble us. The apartment is in a quiet block without hardly any traffic passing by. The shops, cafes etc are all easy to get to in town where there was more going on than we expected. We are a couple in our mid 60s and although plenty of cabs were available they were not needed for us. We really enjoyed 5 nights at Porto Santo.”
“Close to the town, only a short walk. House is beautiful, clean and comfortable. Facilities are excellent. Owner is an absolute delight and a pleasure to deal with. Would 100% recommend and will definitely go back.”
“Location - very central for virtually everything.
WiFi, generally fast and efficient, throughout the hotel, including the bedrooms. Advertised on Booking.com as only in the hotel lobby. The hotel should consider altering this detail on its page with Booking.com.
Plenty of hot water. This might seem something to be automatically expected, but it is amazing how many hotels cannot provide a constant supply of hot water.
Breakfast was adequate. Reasonable selection of cold food. The only hot food was toast, but the toasting machine took forever. Nobody appreciated my joke that it would have been quicker to go and hunt down a dragon and get it to breathe fire on my slice of bread.
Most staff tried to resolve problems (if somewhat unsuccessfully), were helpful and generally polite.”
