It is a good hotel - next to the beach and the ocean. While inside the room you can hear the sound of the waves. The breakfast was very good.

WiFi not very good, barely any connection on the balcony. Despite the big parking lot in front of the house, finding a spot can get very tricky in peak beach times (only 2 reserved places for hotel guests).

Great place, huge rooms with a kitchenette and a big balcony even with sunloungers and amazing sea view. Direct beach access to the lovely Praia das Milícias, even beach towels are provided. Good breakfast (although you might have to wait a bit due to Covid restrictions as no self-service is allowed); wonderful room service that cleans the room every day spotlessly. Central location on Sao Miguel especially for hiking as you reach every point within an hour.

Nothing of note although air conditioning would be a bonus for those hot & humid days. Wasn't really a problem as we had the fresh air coming off the sea...

Great view of the beach, easy access too. Hotel also provided beach towels! Closeby restaurants with good value for money meals. Only 15 minutes by taxi to the airport was a bonus...

The breakfast is good, but not what we expected, however this is probably also due to personal taste and preferences.

The location, facilities and staff are amazing! Located right at the beach you have really well equiped, clean rooms with staff members that will do anything to make your stay as pleasent as possible.

I enjoyed the sea view, which was the main reason I chose this hotel. the family room was bright and huge. Parking was easy (right in front of the hotel).

Discomfort caused by dust mites throughout the night, resulting in a rash and lack of sleep The night receptionist, an elderly man, was neither friendly nor helpful and would not have assisted me had I not insisted. The property shows signs of being run down and could benefit from an upgrade and a deep clean. The crockery and cooking utensils in the kitchen seem outdated. The pillows were very uncomfortable. I twice requested that management contact me so that I could share my grievances privately instead of on this platform, but this was ignored.

The room was quite rundown, and there were weird things like: lamps that didn't work, and no place to plug in the hot plate that was supposed to be part of the "kitchenette". Also, the sponge in the kitchen for doing dishes was just gross, and the mini fridge was unstable and froze half of our food. It was just ok overall.

The location was lovely - right on the beach, and the staff were friendly. Also the room was clean.

Beds, pillows are very uncomfortable. Broken door handles, electric socket. Fridge in the room makes additional noises at night. Service needs to be better. Day to day after clean up we missed some towels.

The hygiene was disaster. Utensils at the breakfast had parts of food remains on them. I had to wash them so I could eat. Bathroom towels had brown stains on them. BROWN!

I liked the hospitality of staff and hotel location at the beach. We could sleep and listen to the sound of waves of the ocean.

Could use a fan in the room. That is my only complaint. Everything else was wonderful!

What a location, right on the beach, listen to the ocean. Operates 24 hours so perfect for the airport. Cafes opposite. Lovely balcony and large room.

No a/c. Unfortunately, sea breeze doesn't help because air has nowhere to go. A small window or ceiling fan would make it 1000% better. However, we considered it part of the experience.
