Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

MalaysiaIt would be convenient to have an electric kettle provided in the room. Additionally, drinking water was not provided in the room except on the first day of check-in. We had to go to the hotel's restaurant beside the reception to get hot water using our own vacuum flask every morning and night.
The hotel is conveniently located near the metro and train stations. The room was spacious enough for two people with two suitcases. Additionally, the window could be opened to let in some fresh air.

HungaryThe only thing I didn't like was that the shower had a curtain and not a plastic / glass wall. Otherwise this hotel is a good choice in Lisbon.
The hotel is close to a metro station, this was an important factor in our choice. The building is a bit old but very clean and quite comfortable. Breakfast was plenty, wide variety, nothing to complain about. The staff was really helpful, even printed the boarding pass for one of us who had to amend her flight booking.

BrazilI didn't like the way the staff of the hotel were so untouched with our situation. With exception of one person, Raphael Xavier. The receptionists must be more understandable with cases of families with babies and their needs with respect to food, use of microwave. YOU SHOULD INSTALL A MICROWAVE FOR DIRECT USE OF THE GUESTS IN THE MAIN SPACES.
I like the accommodations and breakfast. It is noteworthy to say that the staff needs to be better trained to make the stay comfortable. The ONLY PERSON who helped us a lot were RAPHAEL XAVIER, who was always very helpful, pro-active, available, kind. THE HOTEL SHOULD HIRE HIM to train the other staff. The other personal did not care if we had our needs attended or not. We had a baby of 2yo, and I had to face a discussion with the kitchen staff (especially with an old blond woman) who was unable to understand our situation with our baby, and the use of microwave.

PortugalRooms are a bit small if you are travelling with another person. For one person only, they are perfect. There is nothing else I would like to add.
The room I was given met my expectations. It was clean, organized and comfortable. Bathroom in the same conditions. I asked for a quiet room where i could work and i got what I asked for. Staff was friendly.
