We have stayed here before and we enjoyed it. We arrived early this time but it wasn't a problem. Everyone is so helpful, making sure you have everything you need. You are encouraged to try different foods and they are rightly proud of their kitchen. We didn't go into the bar this time, we just stayed at our table.

No lift but the receptionist kindly carried the bigger luggage upstairs. No bidet and coffee making facilities. A bit outside of town.

Modern family owned accommodation. Very nice staff and great breakfast and dinner. Plenty of parking, quiet and easy access from the national road. Clean. Very attractive pricing.

There are quite a few rooms in the corridor, and I could hear noise in the hall and from adjacent rooms. Ultimately, I slept well but, as is typical of the region, people don't go to bed until late!

Situated just outside of Chavez and near the Spanish border, this is a perfect jumping-off point for journeys around northern Portugal, and seems to be a hub of activity around the town, especially the restaurant. The restaurant was lovely and had huge portions of regional cuisine. The staff is incredibly nice, and the proprietor is a genial host. Just a great slice of life in northern Portugal.

We liked everything about our night here. The staff were great, really helpful, very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The meal in the evening was excellent and good value. The breakfast was excellent too and it was included in the price. The hotel is a little out of Chaves, but the hotel can get you a taxi, for not a lot. We will be back definitely.

Modern , comfortable and clean. Friendly and very helpful staff who really took the time to do all they could to ensure we enjoyed our stay. Excellent food and service in the adjoining restaurant where we enjoyed our evening meal and breakfast. Secure parking. Would stay here again .

It’s a great location. Not very far from the city center (5min), but also close to the road on our way to Oviedo. The rooms are super clean and nice. They just renovated the entire hotel. It’s a family owned hotel. The staff was great, very nice and helpful. The bonus was the restaurant attached to the hotel. Best bacalhau (cod fish) that I ever had (and I had lot growing up in Brazil). The owner loves wines and let us tried different ones. Even arranged for us to visit a small exclusive winery. We will definitely come back to explore the region more.

The hotel was modern and very clean. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and the owner was always on hand to make sure everything was up to high standard. The restaurant was superb. Everything about our stay was exceptional. Thank you so much Miguel and team!!!!

Hotel was very clean, beds were very comfortable and the food was excellent. I can’t speak a word of Portuguese, but the staff could not do enough to help out. The owner even insisted I park my motorbike in his garage. Fantastic place to stay.

Secure indoor bike storage. We're cycling the N2 and this is perfectly placed for smooth getaway. Good restaurant with local food and drink. Great staff, friendly and helpful.

The only problem we had was with the shower which was a little difficult to use and with a door that was a little off it’s track. But everything else was great.

A really nice place about a 10 minute drive from the historical center of Chaves. The people at the hotel are very welcoming and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable. There’s a nice restaurant for dinner and breakfast is included in the price. There’s on-site parking. We would very happily return.

Solo motorcycle It's my 4th time staying here, I booked in at reception, went to get my bags and was greeted by the owner with a beer in his hand for me, gratis free, how good is that,made to feel so welcome, amazing place
