Only a small but irritating thing the TV is on a unit that is too low you have to crook your neck to see it and if you are like me after a while it gives you a headache , My other gripe is the gym is too small and claustrophobic

We had booked a room with cathedral view and balcony but thus room only had a view in the hallway and a small balcony that could not used. we sat at the pool instead which was perfect.

Beautiful large room at the back of the hotel in the “second building.” Clean and spacious. Nice pool just outside of our door. We took a quick dip after long days of touring. Staff were exceptional. Helped with luggage that was with car in city parking gagarage, Right in the center of the action.

Long journey to the bedroom, involving taking two lifts. Overly complicated light system in the bedroom and bathroom.

Amazing location, a short walk to the river. On a historic pedestrian only street great for restaurants and shopping. Beautiful 400 year old building, newly renovated with an indoor and outdoor pool. The staff were just great, very accommodating, helpful and friendly. The breakfast was great too with a large range of selection! Loved my stay and would highly recommend it as THE place to stay in Porto!

Lots of steps but you can request for a room closer to reception with fewer steps.

Very little. Lighting in the bedroom could have been better and some steps within the hotel required care as their edges were difficult to see - but we were told that they were well aware of those minor problems and they were about to be rectified.

One of the best! Situated on a central pedestrianised area, the rest of Porto was within reach by foot (as long as you are happy with hills). One slight downside is that only certain taxis could access the pedestrian area so some dropped you off with a short walk to the hotel. We didn't try the evening meals but the buffet style breakfasts were excellent. Staff couldn't have been more helpful and the room, which overlooked the street and its buskers, was not noisy due to good sound proofing.

Breakfast could have had more options

We had an incredible stay. The hotel is very well located, incredibly clean and with impeccable staff. The indoor pool, Turkish bath and sauna were great. The room was quite large and, like the hotel, it was extremely clean and well looked after.

Newly refurbished building.Everything in the bedroom/bathroom in good working order.

Central location in a pedestrian street close to the metro. Plenty of bars and restaurants only a few minutes walk away.
