Hotel advertised as having craft brewery and bar, but were informed it was their day off. Roads to access the hotel are incredibly tight and full of pedestrians. No warning of this beforehand.

It needed to be updated in terms of the plugs for electronics, there not only were not enough of them in the room, but the plugs were old and needed replacing as all our adapters fell out of the wall and so that needed addressing to me. Overall we loved our stay, but your location was very hard to get to w with suitcase's but not sure you could help that but maybe better directions on site or a graph to show customers better way to get there like a map to send to them, just an idea.

Beds were so comfortable! Shower and bathroom was very nice! Loved the town! Great place to stay!

Try to pack your luggage in a way, that a small suitcase is enough for one or two nights. In order to avoid having to carry too much luggage over the cobblestone-pavement. Just leave the rest in your car.

It is located in the city-center, which means, you will have to be willing to carry your luggage for a couple of minutes from the parking lot outsiode the city walls to the hotel. No problem. After that everything is perfect as can be. Our room wa in the basement - two floors below the reception. Absolutely quiet - and cool. The bar/restaurant - adjacent to our terrace - closed at 10pm, so no noise problem. Breakfast contains everything you might want - from scrambled eggs to fruit salad. We enjoyed every minute of our stay - and the opportunity to easily take a break in our room after having covered half of Obidos. Furthermore it is probably the best place to stay, if you want to avoid the crowds between 10am and 18pm. Because it gives you the oppurtunity to enjoy your stay in Obidos much better than just for a day-visit.

The reception person was not well trained (I guess). I had a problem of musty smelling and the hot water in my room when I arrived with my family during the night and the person at the reception was not able to manage it properly and on time. It was a big problem for me and my family. It took me more than 2hrs to convince the person to look at the heat station of the hotel and figure out it was powered of and the whole hotel was without hot water supply. The situation could be solved super quickly if the hotel had a well trained person to handle problems in a practical and quick way. But in the morning the manager of the hotel showed up (which was great from their side) and apologize for the inconvenience and informed me about the actions she is taking to improve. This was the reason for me to score low the hotel, otherwise I would rate it high.

The location of the hotel was super great as it is in the historic center or Obidos. The hotel facilities are nice and the reception when you check-in is warm. They offered me a welcome drink and also a voucher for a free beer in their restaurant. The hotel manager was very nice and proactive to solve the problem I faced during my stay. She showed-up during my check-out and was able to manage the situation and find a solution.

We have three bedrooms with three different prices and apart from one without a balcony there was no diferrence in the rooms, I didn't understand the pricing The breakfast was very disappointing weak coffee, watery fruit juices and not a great selection of foods, I wouldn't recommend it, it was poor value for money.

Not much for breakfast, we were told our sitting was 9:00-9:30 when we arrived there was not much food out and it took 15 minutes for the member of staff to bring out 4 sized cocktail sausages, lots of breads and juices were not replenished. I felt the room wasn’t very clean, the rug in the bedroom on arrival had not been hoovered and there was stains on the curtains

Rooms were a little noisy. We were put in a room next to family of two rowdy teenagers so ear plugs needed. The restaurant was needing some homely additions of heat and tableware but the burgers were great.Parking inside walls is a no go so pack a small suitcase as you have to walk for a while after parking outside.

Very lovely cozy hotel right in the heart of the fortress wall and town. Has just started its own restaurant.Staff lovely and helpful. Room with a balcony and bed was comfy.

It’s a bit tricky to find the hotel. Best to park your car outside of the walls (large gravel lot behind the bank) and walk into the walled city to locate the hotel.

The access to go to hotel unable to go by car. This is not indicate in the hotel information. We bring kids & 4 lunggages, we nees to park outside the wall & need to carry the lunggage by staircase really so difficult. I suggest if you bring kids & lunggages better stay other hotel outside from village or you need to prepare just bring neccessary items. Actually hotel should inform us in beggining we book the hotels so we can well prepare. And our room is not in the same hotel is other side of hotel, so really not as we expect.

The a/c unit didn’t work in the room but they upgraded me which I was delighted about. However there was no hot water in the evening then again in the morning. There was no hot water until approximately 10am when I was leaving.

Difficult to drop off luggage - ultimately left the big bags in the car and carried a backpack for the single night.

Surprisingly, the most comfortable bed we encountered on our trip and a good bathroom with a tub!. A very good deal (for a $100 room). Well located just within the walls a short distance from free parking.

Parking nearby very difficult so long walk over cobbles to hotel. First morning breakfast was chaotic as short staffed, grumpy and buffet nearly empty, Bathroom needs upgrading, extractor, bath and shower so complex to work!

Nice welcome from Ricardo, big comfortable room. Good breakfast second morning. Friendly reception staff.
