Charge for the room safe @ €2.50 per night. Usually complimentary at 4* hotels. Beers a little pricey compared to the bars outside.

Good facilities. Friendly staff. Plenty of choices for breakfast. Decent sized pool. Not a bad location, 10 mins walk from the main Old Town area.

Not enough sun loungers, people where sunbathing on the ground, hotel needs more loungers. Reception staff (girl with curly hair) not very helpful.

The staff that helped entertain the children and the 2 older guys in the dog n duck bar where great barmen, maids had our room spotless everyday too. Almost all off the staff where really really nice. Except 1... Manager gifted us wind which was amazing jesture by him, very greatful

The Vila Gale was in a very good location with easy access to the Old Town and the Strip. The reception was very helpful and did see to all our needs. The waiters and restaurant stall were impeccable and the breakfasts had everything you neededvto set you up for the day. The rooms were firstclass and the cleaners changed the towels daily, kept the rooms clean. All in all I would definitely recommend a visit to this hotel. Rita Davies Susan Davies Room 144

pool area was nice although a bit loud on the last day with the stag do's, breakfast was very good excellent selection has everything you'd need for a hearty breakfast catered for all. Room was a bit tired and I was given a disabled room which I did not need but as I was there for 5 days I just kept the room.

Rooms good and good views. Staff at poolside bar for food need to learn how to take order's for food, they haven't got table numbers so just come out shouting what chef has given them . Your order could be given to other people who have ordered similar food absolute chaos . It happened to everyone. Otherwise a really decent stay great location .

The only thing I would improve is the comfort of the bed. The pillows were nice and plumped but the bed was a little was tough.

The property was very well kept, cleaned every morning and the facilities were great. The breakfast each morning was good with a wide selection and the pool bar was equally well stocked. it had a great, large pool and the location between the new and old town was perfect.

You used to supply complementary crisps and nuts in the dog and duck bar which was a nice touch, unfortunately this is not the case now. I also noted that there was quite a lot of staff in Dog and Duck bar but frustratingly didn't engage to serve. This maybe because they were new and being trained. Also the service at snack bar around the pool is very slow and could do with some table service. With regards to the room, it was good but there was a smell of drains in the bathroom.

bacon and sausages horrible. front of house manager at breakfast snappy. wouldn’t let me take a bottle of water to table even though it would have all been used amongst our group. Don’t see the point of being forced to buy a swimming cap for indoor pool.

Broken Aircon towels were not clean had lipstick marks very noicy from traffic and people slamming the heavy room doors .. that a early wake up call in its self started from 3am of and on till 6am. Could hear guest talking in next room. Sofa bed damaged spring hard. I didn't like the fact I was charged different prices for two lemonades one time was 6.00 euro then 6.40 then 8.00 and the glass got small everything price was high. Untrustworthy bar staff.

The hotel was nice clean room apart from towels. Location close to supermarket and MC donalds and KFC. Pool was quiet during evening.
