The amenities are on a shelf under the basin in the bathroom. Not really a problem, just a bit odd.

Great location. Lovely room. Comfortable, spacious & nicely designed, lots of cupboard space (and hangers!). Balcony & espresso machine. Helpful staff. Good breakfast. Very enjoyable stay.

The only thing I didn't like about the room was the shower setup. The shower was visible through the glass door while walking in the hallway (not if sitting on the bed). I was traveling with my sister so movement was restricted when either of us was taking a shower. The construction in front of Sao Bento made for a longer walk to cross.

The hotel was clean and modern. Staff was very nice. Safe area.

Our room had a damp smell which was due to a mouldy wall next to the balcony. This was really disappointing. Our room was also on the street which worried me, the double glazed windows did a great job of blocking out the late night revellers.

Location was perfect, quiet but close to everything. Modern decor and very helpful staff. We stayed in a suite which had the benefit of a fridge and coffee machine.

Leaving a few minutes early and asked for coffee and the morning staff wanted us to pay because it was a few minutes before they started serving free breakfast. At these rates a cup of coffee in the am shouldn’t be an issue.

We loved it all!

The d’ALMA boutique hotel is fabulous! From the moment we arrived until the second we left the service was impeccable! The hotel itself is lovely - a super, very central location and a gorgeous spacious room welcomed us. Breakfast every morning was full of choice and delicious. Staff were so helpful in recommending and making reservations for us at local restaurants. They really went above and beyond and nothing seemed too much trouble. We will definitely return - we didn’t want to leave!

The way breakfast is set up isnt ideal. They only habe 8 places. So you have to sign in when you want to eat breakfast and then you have 30min before the next people came. Also, breakfast starts at 8, which seems relatively late. The rooms were very pretty but sometimes not very practical - e.g in one room the only place to put your things anywhere in the bathroom was a tray that was on the floor. very weird. and in 2 rooms the light above the mirror in the bathroom was so dark that you couldnt put on your make up there because you couldn't see anything. Also we had booked 3 rooms - one regular and 2 that were slightly more expensive. turns out that the cheapest one was the best in terms of windows, lights and space to put your things away. One of the more expensive rooms had just a tiny window on the right side of the room and kt was so high up that you couldnt teally see anything through it. the cheaper room had windows on one entire side of the wall and was very bright.

The staff are very nice and friendly. The hotel was very modern and unique while maintaining the environmental authenticity of Porto. We had a very nice terrace overlooking a courtyard / lobby / chill out area which has a very relaxed and ambient atmosphere particularly in the evening with warm white lights giving it a zen vibe. We had some delicious cookies baked by the hotel on arrival and water was provided and cool filtered water available to refill at any time. The location was amazing.

It was very nice. The only things that would make it better was that there is no lift/elevator and we were on the top floor. This wasn’t a problem for us being very able but it could have been an issue for many. We would have also liked to be able to make ourselves a coffee / tea in the room. Or with this not bring available been able to serve ourselves to one without having to consult the hotel staff and pay for it. One or the other would have been nice and we would have been happy to pay slightly more for the room for this facility.

This hotel was great. Beautifully appointed rooms with lots of space. Very quiet. Lovely staff who were extremely helpful. Fantastic location. Cafes, restaurants and convenience stores close by. We didn't have breakfast included so can not comment on that. Walking distance to Sao Bento train station.

This stylish boutique hotel is in an excellent location for exploring Porto on foot. Comfortable, well appointed studio and breakfast exceeded expectations. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The hotel arranged airport transfers were very smooth.

No elevator (not for lazy couples). There is no online check-in - late check-in costs money. The bathroom was good but not so practical, not enough spots to put stuff such as toothbrush... The bathroom light was put on a wrong location, which caused shadow on the face when looking at the mirror - no practical use for the mirror.

The room is really big. We hosted at the upmost floor and has a nice and romantic natural morning light from the sun through the roof window (and can be moved by electrical switch). There are a comfortable shared water bar and coffee machine that can be used at any time.
