Absolutely nothing, a perfect holiday

From start to finish it was a 10 out of 10, Andre picked us up and then dropped us off at the airport and took us to the beach when we wanted to go, can not thank Andre enough and will definitely be back 👍

Nothing to dislike.

The property is built on 4 levels set into the hillside similar to probably 90% of all residential buildings on Madeira. The roof line is set at street level with apartments at levels 4,3 and 2 down from there. Floor 1 at the bottom contains the swimming pool and loungers. I can only account for the apartment on level 2. They may all be different formats. This apartment has 1 very large double bed in the massive main room and 1 quite small single bed in a separate room. It's very well equipped throughout and although I wasn't expecting it a lady cleaned the apartment a couple of times on the week we were there. Outside is a full length private balcony with plenty of space and the best sea view you're likely to find. Sun from rising to setting. All 3 apartments have totally separate front doors. The area is hilly but not unlike everywhere else on the island. Up from the apartment is a street with plenty of bars restaurants and shops, enough for an average length stay. Easy bus access into Funchal if you want to leave the car behind (recommended). Down from the apartment is the coastline and again an easy but hilly walk. Up or down doesn't need the car. In fact you'll probably have more trouble parking than walking. The included car is great just like a standard car hire agreement but no forms and insurance hassle. Just leave a €200 refundable cash deposit. Check the car over and leave the petrol level as you found it. It's outside already and you leave it there at end. Parking no problem. Communication was excellent before during and departure. Paid half up front by bank transfer and the remainder by bank transfer on arrival. Just provide arrival times at the airport and you get a lift from and back to the airport. Overall excellent throughout. Thoroughly recommend. Not forgetting the friendly residential white cat that somehow gets fed.

Everything was perfect except for some insects outside, though they didn't bother me. On the last day hot water ended more quickly.

Fascinating view! Andrea is wonderful host, he made a gift for me and changed my room for the bigger one. I had a lot of space, a car I used whenever I wanted and a local white cat, which sometimes came in to purr my worries away :) There was a swimming pool which I was too lazy to use. Villa is not far from the beach and 10-20 min of walk from the shop and supermarket. Love it and plan to come back!

OMG! Andre's place is AMAZING! We spent most of our time on our balcony just enjoying the beautiful sunshine and the incredible view! Andre was very helpful and obliging! Airport pick and free rental car? What's not to like? We are already talking about our return trip!

Andre was very friendly. He cane pick us up from the airport and our last day he takes us back the apartment was beautiful with a stunning view. Everything was nearby ,all the shops and some wonderful places within the apartment. We got a car as well what made the whole thing perfect. We had only 2 days so it was very helpful I highly recommend Villa Isabela for everyone.

Fantastic location with stunning sea view.Very close to airport,shops restaurants on your door step.Villa is beautiful, very comfortable,with everything what is needed. Rooms were cleaned every day,everything was spotless. Swiming pool is overlooking the sea with plenty of comfortable sunbeds. Owners Andre and Irina super friendly and helpful. Airport pick up and drop off included in price. We had fantastic time and definitly will be back for bit longer.Highly recomend

Great weeend on villa Isabela, exellent view, wonderful place for relax, swimming pool, free car, my apartment had everything I needed and was very clean, Andre met me at the airport and told me where and what is nearby.

Andre was extremely friendly and helpful during our stay. The property was clean and and with a beautiful view straight to the sea! Having a hire car provided at the property was very useful and the location was perfect as it was only 10-15 mins drive to the centre of Funchal!

All was perfect.

Villa is in great location, close to restaurants and grocery shops. Clean and well equipped. Exceptional view from apartment. Fantastic customer service by Andre. He really looks after you. Great that you also get a car with accommodation.
