I felt the location was a bit remote but having said that it was beautiful!

Excellent staff! Very very helpful, kind, concerned. Always happy to accommodate any requests. Restaurant was nice food, again excellent staff. Efficient. My only suggestion would be to broaden the menu with more chicken options;) But lovely food. Pools, little farm with farm animals which my daughter loved, a little river: stream ran through thr property. They had an ice cream counter which was amazing 😅

We could feel we were there in the off season. We had limited things like the bar. The breakfast is not so rich, The dinner was a bit expensive.

In the room one could hear almost all movements from the neighboring rooms, actually it was quite noisy. A better sound insulation would be helpful

I noticed a few things that needed attention, like light bulbs that were out, and the shower near the sauna was working. Perhaps they could devote a little more attention to that kind of thing. But the room and whole property were very clean, which is even more important to us. Also, although they say they're a full-service spa, a massage is only possible on Saturdays, at least for now.

Breakfast was generous and tasty. Location was in the country, which is what we were looking for. Services (like laundromat, pharmacy, etc.) were in a town about 15 minutes away. Very quiet. Beautiful pool outside and very warm pool inside, as well as a sauna. We were greeted personally by the owner when we arrived, who insisted on taking our bags to our room. All the staff spoke very good English and were friendly and helpful.

Nothing not to like, really. I would have liked to have an option for gluten free bread (shouldn't cost so much to have something half baked in the freezer). But I did not leave hungry.... :-)

Wonderful Douro view. Lovely swimming pools and excellent service. Very good breakfast buffet, and nice and personal service from the restaurant. VERY pet friendly. And with a charging station for electric cars!!!

The room did not prevent excessive noise from children running down hallways or talking and yelling at 22:30 and people talking even when windows were closed securely.

The location was good for relaxing. The staff was friendly. The room was clean and safe. Liked the on property parking. Breakfast was good with many options. Good wi-fi.

The hotel is out of the way, and although there is a bar/ coffee counter next to reception, a hot water kettle in the room would be quite an improvement…

Everything was very clean, the bed was comfortable and the outdoor pool looked wonderful. Indoor heated pool and Sauna were very nice.

The blackout curtains of our room were broken on one of the sides, which meant that, in the early morning, we woke up with direct sun light.

Fantastic staff that has assisted us with everything that we've requested. The indoor swimming-pool was excellent. The breakfast was also very good, with great variety and quality. It is a quiet hotel with amazing views and we'll definitely return.

The pet friendly atmosphere, the indoor pool, the wonderful staff, the peace and tranquility. I could go on and on. Magical place in the middle of nowhere...heavenly.
