the only thing was the shower gel was empty on our bathroom and we said various times to fix and they didn’t fixed it

The food wasn’t good. Even though the breakfast was included we decided to eat elsewhere. It would have been nice to have a kettle and fridge in the room. Most small things were charged, fresh towels, use of tennis courts.

The hotel had good facilities for guests to use such as the gym, sauna, indoor/outdoor pool. The room was comfortable and spacious for 2 people.

Breakfeast was really average, food quality was not that good. The pool is regulary cleaned, but not the newest in the world. The ceiling fan was not always working, and the rooms have a noise insulation problem.

Slightly dated interior needs a bit of TLC. Bedroom floor could be cleaner. Breakfast scrambled eggs were weird.

Needs a make over dated. Steep walk up to the hotel as it's set back. The breakfast was crowded and there was not much choice.

We paid 80 euro per night. you get a quite nice room, the pool, restaurant and rooftop is nice. Breakfast buffet was good.

the car park is paid now (it used to be free up to 6 months ago). So you need to take this cost into consideration when booking (I have stayed here three times already and was counting on the free car park so didn’t budget for it). It is hard and costly to park on the street. Also there is quite a long slop to walk until you reach the hotel (especially if you don’t park in the car park and need to walk it from the street).

Hotel looks and smells outdated. Personally I don’t like the part of Funchal where the hotel is located. It’s located in an hotel area and pretty far from the old town. The restaurant of the hotel is ok at best.

Its a very affordable hotel with an outdoor and indoor swimming pool, tennis court and restaurant. Its close to shops and restaurants. Friendly staff.

Noisy from construction. Towels dirty, bath dirty. Double room was just two singles. Jacuzzi, sauna both out of order. The pool table was ragged and old.

Balcony views were nice. Bar staff were helpful and opened our bottles for us.
