The toilets are communal and there's no separate men's or ladies so it can be uncomfortable at time.

The kitchen for self cooking is not well stuffed, but at least it works to cook if you are creative

The people there was very welcoming and nice. Also the location directly at the beach with great waves is perfect, especially for surfing.

Its the 2nd time we have stayed there and both times the bedside lights didn't work, this time no plugs worked at all in our room so couldn't charge anything 🙃 but gave us more quality time i guess. The bed in our room was extremely hard.

The view is breathtaking, however if you have a bottom floor room the bush is in the way of the view. Otherwise its perfect 👌

We booked the room with the double bed and a bunk bed. Linen had residue of beach sand so it was very uncomfortable. I had to sleep on top of the duvet cover to fall asleep.

Location is perfect. Especially if you like watching Sunrise. Most of the Staff members were Friendly and helpful. Especially the cleaning lady

Outdoor furniture on the balcony was broken. Screws are sticking out of the wood. Needs to be replaced immediately. Ashtrays from previous guests were not removed from the balcony. Mattress was very hard and uncomfortable. Kitchen for self cooking is very badly equipped. Fridge is filthy. The property offers the most unprofessional surf lessons/ rental I have ever seen: Asked multiple times for a intermediate lesson and got only a basic / beginners class. They rent surfboards but don't even have wax for the boards. Wetsuits are filthy and not washed properly. I recommend "Salted Surf School" instead.

The location isn't nice. And they locked the gate so that we could not get back in from the beach's side.

Bit of a distance to communal ablution block. Parking area had limited space and no parking available when going out and coming back late evening/night.

Loved the sea view. Could lay on bed with door open and enjoy the sea view. Small rustic log cabin. good for a short fun stay. enjoyed the setup and friendly staff. Common social area, bar restaurant, Braai area good and great to meet all the travelers. Communal ablution block was clean and tidy at all times. Beach access was a big bonus only a short walk away.

We had the ensuite room in the beach house, which was comfortable for a night's stay for a couple, toddler, and grandma. It was perfect for having an inexpensive "sea view" night, though the veranda is communal. The shower is powerful!

I was excited to take a nice bath when I opened the tap the water came out all over the floor and not in the bath. Also didn't have a kettle in the kitchen, asked for one and was told they're bringing one, it never came. Bedside lights way too bright.

The view, the sound of the ocean, the cleanliness and the shower. There is a lovely island vibe here for real. Definitely a good spot for a group of young people. Didn't have of their food but there were a variety of meal options.

Despite enjoying a good party myself, the hostel hosts party events at their own bar which can jeopardise your surfing lesson the following day if your instructor joins. ;-)

Awesome hostel with sea view and awesome sunsets. The hostel is pretty large and provides parking, a big community space with a bar and a big kitchen. The hostel provides surfing lessons which start directly from the hostel which is super convenient. Unfortunately our instructor was hungover from the party the night before hosted by the hostel which meant our lesson wasn’t great.
