Such a lovely hotel, we have travelled the world and this is up there with the very best. Great staff, beautiful rooms, lovely breakfast - there was nothing to fault and the outside swimming pool, garden and sun lounger seating areas in the middle of a city were a bonus and helped make the holiday. Hotel only opened a year ago after a 4 year refurbishment - privately owned 5 star Hotel and the co-owner Antonio was often to be seen - he clearly has a passion for design - so many little touches to be appreciated - if we ever return to Porto this is where we will stay

Absolutely everything. Wonderful property that has been lovingly renovated to a very high standard. Our room was large and luxurious. The pool area is an oasis. Breakfast was outstanding. Above all the staff were just fantastic, so genuinely friendly and helpful. One of the best hotels we have ever stayed in.

The breakfast was fantastic, although service could be slow during busy periods. The hostess did jump in to help the server when we asked. Parking was tight and it was cheaper to pay the parking facility direct than to book via the hotel.

One of the best places we stayed during our trip to Portugal. The property is beautifully appointed, and the service was exceptional. I would definitely return and have already recommended the property to friends.

the only thing we could say is that the surrounding area is slightly run down in parts - but the hotel has no control over this.

Honestly we loved everything from airport pick up to arrival at the hotel, the staff were just the right balance between professional and friendly, offering advice and recommendations on local area and ensuring we had everything we needed, the hotel itself is just stunning, beautifully decorated and extremely clean in all areas, ( smelt amazing too)

rather boring locality, cableway has to be used to go to the river unless you wish to climb steep stairs

Very nice spa, but in order to get an extra towel you have to ask somebody to bring it to you, instead of just pick it you up. It also be nice if bathroom in a room has couple of more extra hooks.
